    Glad you got it fixed. I think however this won't help those who don't use Steam Workshop for their mods. I assume you are. I also don't get the message you got in the RPT. Guess my issue is caused by something else.

    ArmA3 Game Modes explanations?

    Insurgency, at least the version we run, is all about clearing areas with hostiles and finding and destroying ammo caches. I would also recommend trying Advance and Secure. But I'm not sure if that runs in SP. Actually I'm not sure of anything I mentioned runs in SP because we run them on a server but I think they are worth checking out 🙂

    1.90 update - Troubleshooting

    I saw the new tips but disabling / enabling mods would take me hours because without the mods I can not connect to our server and to test if they actually work I need to run these mods on server level. And I honestly do not have the time for all this. Also, I find it weird that we, the users, seem to have to find the solution to this issue. I again stress that this is caused by that new security update. It didn't work the first time, and again it didn't work. These sort of updates make the game totally unplayable and wreck the experience of those who are running mods to enhance their game play. Yes, most of us are patient but we are starting to lose patience. Just as Jgaz just said, there are nothing but issues after each update and I am personally starting to get fed up with it. Let's hope we can rollback to version 1.88 or there will be a fix. Otherwise I may just take down my servers and stop playing this game. UPDATE: I have tried to connect to our public server without any mods running. After all I believe if I already can't connect with no mods running it is not related to any mods and it is of no use to disable and enable them one by one. I was proven right. Even without any mods running I still could not connect. I am willing to provide feedback and help find a solution, and I appreciate the tips given, but none of them are working for us and quite a few other people. I also think it is not just a few users having this problem, the numbers are growing and growing. I read that the checks are more strict now. In what way? What has changed? Does this have anything to do with the v3 version of the signatures? We are really stumbling around in the dark here.

    Cache.ch file deleted as suggested but this didn't make any changes to the issue.
  6. @HazJ: to me having an issue after they release 1.90 is the same as the previous time. And yes, we happen to have some modded servers. @BIS_Homesick: thank you for letting us know.
  7. Same here Dave. This did not work. What I find appalling is that not even one Bohemia representative has responded yet. I am really starting to wonder about their testing. The previous Multiplayer Security update already screwed servers so you would at least expect them to properly check their releases before actually releasing them. Our public server can not be visited by anyone right now. Running our public server with signature checks switched off is no option so why on Earth release yet again a update that wrecks things. I don't care about that whole Warlords crap that seems to be the main focus nowadays, I want updates to actually fix stuff and not wreck things. Let's worry about kiddie game modes later shall we? Fix your god damn game and actually fix bugs that have already been reported to you back in 2016! I can already tell you I will not be buying Arma 4 when it comes out. Bohemia has turned worse over the years and I will not support any new products they sell from now on. Really pissed off by this real amateuristic behaviour.

    update 1.86 verify signatures

    Sorry for posting this here, but it is sort of related... I just updated our servers to 1.90 and AGAIN the Multiplayer Security updates are giving issues. AGAIN we have to disable signature checks or people can't even connect to our servers without getting the message session lost. Seriously Bohemia? Again? Anyone else having this issue too?

    Kunduz, Afghanistan [10km] v1.20

    Thank you for your reply. I took the liberty to check if this worked, but it did not. In fact as soon as I joined the server I was kicked off. My apologies. I think I should have been more concise about saying I was referring to replacing files on server level. Anyway, what I did was replace the files from the original map with the fixed doors versions, on both server and client level. I didn't touch the .bisign files. I think I didn't even make it to the role selection screen afterwards. I was kicked off the server quite quickly. Apparently the files need to be re-signed with another key. On client level everything worked fine however. I really like this map a lot so maybe I'll sign the new files with my own key or something.

    Kunduz, Afghanistan [10km] v1.20

    Can anyone confirm the following for me? On our servers we are currently still running the Kunduz version from James with the non-working doors. I noticed that the fixed door version only contains the pbo files and no .bisign files, so I was wondering if we could just replace the existing files with the files from the fixed door version? I tried on my own computer and missions we made on the version from James seemed to load in fine but I would like to confirm if we can replace the files before actually doing so on server level and telling our clan members to do the same.

    1.68 with lower FPS

    So, what is your advice to those who did not even change anything like you describe but still have the same drop in frames as other people describe here? Everything you say here does not apply to me at all, so can you comment on that? I can tell you a mission we run 24/7 ran perfectly well with the 32-bit engine, but performance got worse once we started to run 64-bit. My computer can also perfectly well handle the 64-bit engine. I do think though, and I think if you ask around that many people will actually tell you they are aware that no miracles were promised but to have massive frame drops after releasing a 64-bit engine that promised to make frames more stable isn't that the other way around? Doesn't that just mean that this engine is released too soon and not fully tested and optimised? As much as I appreciate your opinion and don't wish to attack it or you personally, I'm kinda fed up with the attitude spread around in many places where people's systems and set ups are blamed for what clearly is an issue with the engine. Don't get me wrong, I like Arma, but it is time that issues are properly recognised and fixed. Instead of them releasing DLC and other stuff they should first fix the engine. Or at least properly test it for release. Just sharing my opinion.
  13. Kylania, could you explain to me how to use this code to be able to pick up mobile phones etc.? We are currently working on a mission where people have to pick up multiple different items at different locations and this code seems to be what we are looking for, but we don't know how to change it.

    Anyone? I was also told that the transport option disappears from the menu once you get killed inside an air transport and respawn. I don't know any other details because the guy reporting the issue to me only gave me the info I posted.

    Hey SENSEI, I really like this project but I have a question about it. Is it possible to have the DCG mod kick in only with specific missions? The default set up runs it on every mission we run on our server and we only want the DCG mod to run with certain missions. Now I read this above: Does that mean that if we change all the ALL parameters in the serverconfig.hpp file to specific mission names that the DCG mod will only run on these missions and leave the other missions in our server rotation alone?
