European Union (Fictional - ArmA III Setting)
Degman replied to jinzor's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Are you going to include Croatian Armed Forces ? I am asking because me and my friend Minoza are working on it currently, so I was thinking if we can put it in your Euro Forces mod (?). Perhaps I can help creating serbian, montenegro and our neighbourd armies (units only), because I have expirience with retexturing, config (middle) and similar. For now I will stick with our [CRO AF (with vehicles, weapons, equipment etc.)] mod and finish it, so then, if you agree, we can put it in EF mod. :) -

Check your PM. (...) About modifying the helmet, I'll have to wait for BIS MLOD release to check it out. If not, I will try PM-ing the developers to send me a model. -

In ArmA3 you dont need a model in your .pbo file to retexture it. :) I dont even have A3, actually. That's what I love in new modding system. -

It's default A3 helmet. Perhaps in the future we will edit these and remake it in croatian Å estan-Busch models. I hope BI devs will let us to do it. -

Update:  - Croatian army digital pattern added to vest, vest equipment and camelback. - "BLUFOR > Croatian Armed Forces" faction added (working icon). - Tactical glowes are now black. - Added croatian combat helmetB with digital pattern. - Some of small bugs are now fixed and etc. Progress if slow for now, but however, expect more soon. -
Nope, politicians are (usally) smart people who knows how to control and manipulate the other people (nation). It's not stupid brain what makes them rich and powerful.

I totally agree with you. Even if I havent tried ArmA3 myself, I am sure that customers/supporters really deserve more stuff for money they spent.

I didn't knew that. Thanks for info guys.

I just remember: please delete static tank rotating (its really irritant and unreallistic), so player must hold W + A (FA + LA) to turn left (only right track will be moving rotating it left), W + D (FA + RA) to turn right (only left track will be moving rotating it right) and only W (Forward arrow) (both tracks are moving) to go forward [or S (Back arrow) to go back)]. Perhaps my soultion is not good solution, but you can make it better. Just fix the damn tank turning and it will be good. :P EDIT: Or just make it when player press (on example) 'A' (W + A no needed) only right track moving rotating your tank left. Thats it. :)

Yes, when we come to Patria AMV we will ask BIS for permission. Everything must be legal and 100% supporting community as well as BI developers. -
[WIP] Combine Transhuman forces
Degman replied to digitalcenturion's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Wow, looks good .. even better than original Half Life units. :) P.S. -
MiG-21 stays in service until 2019. (or until they all fall down :D ), so maybe then. I'd like to see some of your MiG-29/M2, MiG-35 or Su-30 in our airforce better than Eurofighter, Grippen or similar. :)

Yes, it was a nice underground airfield, but it is now at croat-bosniak border. One runway even leads behind the border. :) The second thing is that you are automatically endangering neighbourd country's sky (even if you are in good relations) when you fly up with your plane if your airbase is so close (in this case literally at..*) to *the border. You can always check out google maps or Google Earth. The airfield is called "Željava". There is no possible ressurection of that object.

If our MD only spent milions for new jets instead of new expensive cars, MiG-21 remonts, etc. ....

They should make some of structures be bulletproof on some types of ammo. Same for vehicles and vests.

(Please: polytic bulllshits, nationalism and offtopic keep for yourself) I was thinking about something like a war at the doors to Euroasia. After NATO has invaded Iran, chain reaction involded Russia and other eastern countries in war turning whole Europe and Euroasia into a battlefield. You are a US soldier in KFOR (Kosovo Forces) which will soon retreat to Albania, Croatia, Hungary or Montenegro after strong attack of serbian and russian troops, leaving Kosovo unprotected to create time for making defences in near NATO countries. So you are helping local armies to defend their lands until war ends. What to say anymore, imagine rest yourself. :P

Ante Kotromanović, croatian minister of defence, dediced to give NATO whole croatian battalion (500 soldiers) in case of intervention in Syria. This is exacly what I predicted on same creating of that battalion. (battalion's job is to support NATO and it's allies's operations in whole world)

The whole idea may sounds ludicrous (like getting money which is like "young retirement"), but some of parts, such as everyone's right to have medical care, social services, having roof above head and similar, really should be parts of the basic human rights. I dont have anything agains if that petition goes true, it could bring more good than bad. (basic money income should be exacly enought to survive a month .. not that much to buy a plasma TV or a new car, which would make all peoples lazy to work.)
-
I agree with you, but it wont change a fact that alot of peoples will die, and it wont stop terrible things that could happen. Whatever reason of war is, it still will be terrible.
