I've started to get some crashes here and there and today when I loaded up a mission I was working on in Altis it took a couple of minutes to load. Just had a major lockup during a preview session, frames were fine and all was well until I stepped inside on a lighthouse at the NE of the island. Had to restart the PC. Verifying the cache now to see if it helps, will also see if I can reproduce the lockup. Seems since Altis arrived I have had some weird bugs here and there such as not being able to pickup the UAV backpack which others have mentioned. Unfortunately I have had problems trying to reproduce them but every now and then they rear their ugly head. Hoping this will be fixed in upcoming patches as a lot of the issues are pretty random.

Seems fine for me but I am experiencing some slight stutter in built up areas in the MH-9. Frame rate is up around 60 in the open and drops to 35 - 40 in the capital city. All in all it's not too bad on FPS apart from the stutter, all my settings were on ultra which was carried over from the auto detect. I dropped some of my settings down a little and gained some frames fairly easily. I feel for you guys that are getting an unplayable frame rate, nothing more frustrating. Altis looks amazing and I am looking forward to the full release. The only cons I can see at the moment are no rivers, some buildings are blocked off and not enough forested area(s). I'm also getting an error when I go to place the first object into the editor but it doesn't seem to be causing any major issues. Bring on the 12th and the full release!!!

It's good to have the rain back but I have a couple of concerns. Firstly when in a vehicle in first person it looks like the rain isn't falling around you but maybe 20mtrs in the distance, in 3rd person its fine and looks good. Had a fly in the little bird and basically was the same, looks like it starts in the distance but 3rd person looks good. Drove under a hanger at the airport and the rain is rendered inside at certain points - I think someone mentioned it isn't working well with roofs. I'm also having some lag in the editor with rain at 100%, clouds at 100% and wind around 70%. Feels like its stopping for a second and then skipping along. It did ease a little once I was away from the airfield and Aegis. Also the the lightning is awesome but the thunder sounds are a little disappointing, the sound is either not loud enough or is being diffused and sounds weird. Also it should depend on where you are in relation to the lightning strike as to how loud it is. At the moment it all sounds the same. Orange!?! I liked the blue or the green but orange is very over powering, glad it can be changed and hope this isn't the release color.

Was fooling around with the Darter and a refuel trigger, didn't go overboard with testing but I think refueling at 85 meters above the trigger is a little unrealistic. Triggers need a Z-axis or height limit of some description to prevent easy fly overs to quickly rearm, refuel and repair.

So the Darter and Greyhawk UAV's are annoying me. The Darter will stay powered up after recovery and will launch itself once reassembled and will go directly to autonomous mode. This means if you use it for recon and then recover and move on then attempt to do another recon it will automatically try to follow old way points sometimes heading off in the wrong direction. With the fuel load being very limited this can be a real waste and also could get itself into trouble being shot down, etc. So my suggestion is that once you manually land the Darter or Greyhawk, shut off the engine and then release it from the AV terminal it should act as a kill switch and a reset of any old way points that were set. This way when you redeploy the Darter it will be switched off and waiting for user input. The Greyhawk after release won't try and take off on you either. Not sure if there should be a kill switch action or through the actions I just ran through that are already in the game? The wheeled UV's would need to have a separate kill switch function as they would need to be autonomous with the engine off and released from the terminal. If you try to dismantle the darter while its in autonomous mode before it can take off and then reassemble it will spawn in the state it was when it was disassembled. When this happened it shot up into the air straight away and was still in auto mode. If it is disassembled it should default to its original state and require reconnection.

Hmm, a little disappointing to be honest. The same effect for Helo spot lights applies even in low light (from changing to a winter date), the light is lit up on the helo but it doesn't produce a beam until after 5pm (not 100% on the time). I understand this is to lessen the load but I feel it would be better to have it based on light levels and not time of day.

Have been having issues with this for a while now and hoped it was fixed in the last release. Could just be me though :) * When I die I respawn immediately with no timer to wait out? I've removed all the mobile spawn options and set the timer to 180 for revive, still no joy? I get the Revive Started hint at startup. * When I respawn I don't have the same gear as when I died and the grenades, smoke and chem lights are in my gear but can't access them unless I drop them and pick them up again. Respawn Gear is set to 1 * Receive an error at start up about the respawn function. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a very cumbersome system for sure. I would like to see the ability to enter an animation and for it to be broken by a key press or something. The ability to move whilst in an animation would be good also such as weapons and binoculars but there are other actions this should be applied to. Also the constant stance changes when executing certain actions. eg: going into a crate will some times make me go prone or crouch and then stand up, the other is while prone some actions make you stand. This is awesome while in battle conditions as you stand and get shot?! This can some times be game breaking and needs serious attention before release.

I'm getting the same issue, have tested an extended sleep time to confirm it's with the fnc_getloadout save in the init.sqf. *Great script by the way, thanks for all the hard work you have put in.
