  1. this allowdamage false ;-) ---------- Post added at 10:05 ---------- Previous post was at 10:02 ---------- i did something interesting with that init line script actually.... spawn a ghost hawk underwater (may have to do -30 or something elevation) and i actually started the helicopter underwater and was "flying/swimming" and could actually fully submerse the helo and fly out of the water.. i also tried this with a "littlebird" but it blows up when you try to take off out of the water hmm :S [HINT] use an empty helo and spawn a diver and type "this moveindriver heli1" so you dont drown

    hmmm hasnt been any major update with AI for the last few days, maybe they're working on something. :)
  3. i reckon it will be on a friday nearer to a spotrep release :D so dev branch can test it before it goes on stable build..boooom!!
  4. hmmm normally its released 2 weeks after the sitrep? maybe on the next spotrep (stable build patch) as thats the last stable build before release :)

  6. very true i was just messing about with them actually around 5am - 6am etc.. seems a bit too dark and not right
  7. if you havent noticed on stratis at night, half of the island lamps are actually off.... BIS why is this? will altis be the same then? why cant we have 100% lamps working. also while im on the subject... i want my lamp objects back please.
  8. thanks purepassion!! i will get one of these... ha ha thats better anyway i think this has gone off topic a bit :/ there is no REAL problem i was simply asking will ALTIS have loads of lights out too? as its a TINY island i would of thought it would have plenty of lamps on the roads and cities/towns.   11. my games 100% vanilla and as you can see by my specs its not a hardware issue :) if you go on editor and hover mouse cursor over agia marina you will end up hitting something like ".... lamp (off)" i guess these are the ones that i am on about. the only graphic issue i have is PIP flickering [edit] i dont know how to attach photo's as i dont really have a website to share photo's :/ shame you just cant do a attach file like the tracker

    wow that mission you told me to download, i unPBO'd it and jesus christ... hahaha someone knows their missions ;) i will keep it and see if i can use that to help me out. at the moment i still think BIS should investigate

    here is the relevant ticket. also is a mission attached of my simple setup... can people give it a try? http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=12220 1st task does the following -creates -autoassigns -shows destination -completes the 2nd task does this?? -creates -does NOT assign -does not locate - does not complete

  19. regarding the object icons, is there anyway that a arrow or a directional feature is placed so we know which way for example a "SIGN" is facing or a bunker is facing. in arma 2 this was a big problem because you kept having to preveiw, tweak, preview, tweak because the sign or bunker or whatever wasnt facing the correct way. im sure we all would aprechiate this :D ---------- Post added at 14:49 ---------- Previous post was at 14:37 ---------- anyone noticed when you reload the grenade launcher the actual magazine pops out and back in too? ---------- Post added at 14:54 ---------- Previous post was at 14:49 ---------- loooks like my task issue has been fixed (at the moment anyway) [EDIT] nope...making a ticket now

  21. i have every setting on ultra (because im cool like that) and even up close lamps/lights are out. makes me have to put down barrel fires :/ DUE TO THE FACT THAT LAMPS IN THE OBJECT MENU HAS DISAPPEARED ENTIRELY LOL
  22. i would actually sit down for hours on end recording all of that haha (even if it was a work in progress project for each one of us be worth it in the long run) on the plus side if you got bored with it simply change to a preset speaker voice and some other AI can have yours ;) MP wise it would be a great laugh still be interesting if a dev (RIE?) could specify if it was do able or if there was someway they could implement something that could make it do-able. :D
