  1. the waypoint dismissed has always confused me, once the waypoint is set the unit ****s off miles away. I would have thought there would be a set radius? or can a radius be set? as that would be much useful. so if you want the unit to be dismissed in a town you can set the radius to like 30-50m and he will ponder about within that area, not 300m away

    3D space talking when nearby unit etc..

    ive asked the leader of JSRS to see if he can do anything, fingers crossed! well when the soldiers shout "reloading" they say this in 3D space not radio, so why cant close units hear this for commands vice versa. especially in stealth mode, hearing them whisper!! at the moment the only way to enjoy this feature Is to be next to someone NOT in your squad. :(

    LJ can you configure the 3D voice feature at all? for example if your in a 3 man squad... and soldier A and B were in close proximity C was a distance away technically A and B should be using the 3D voice not radio and C should hear the commands over radio. I made a thread about this anyway so I thought id ask mr sound guy :P let me know what you think? I do also think maybe it should be a bit louder too!

  5. i was going to create a thread to compare arma 3 with each GPU driver and what everyone thinks... would it be worth a shot? we can see if theres performance or not

    I think the Ai still have issues driving tanks offroad... they run into trees and buildings and aim for the steepest slope :/

    hi LJ, in the 2.0 release, will the rain sounds be changed at all? is it possible? for example, when your stood inside a metal shack you can hear the rain hit the roof etc... and more of a slushy effect on the ground when its raining? stuff like that :)

  10. im back on dev branch! I was playing around with tank battles over the weekend and I noticed that the fire effects when the tank is destroyed looks somewhat un realistic. @devs, are these effects still in progress? cheers tyler

  12. a wintery effect could be quite good, i.e. frost, ice, snow, hail storms etc...

    whats your samples number on in the options? under audio there are sliders and an option to change how many samples of noise are produced (I think!)

    id imagine anything core wise will be worked on after all campaign is released? would make sense wouldn't it
  19. this would be awesome, just like GTA V puddle decals appear on roads and paths over time and clothing starts to darken. also splash effects would be a nice addition but we all know its WIP so good job looks really good. can only get better from here on out.
