So spent about an hour on one of the servers, such a big difference. At the end of the hour frames started to get worse but they where still better than other freshly started servers, and this one had a uptime of 36 hours. A big step in the right direction is all I can say. Btw Dwarden, whats the idea with this "fix" will it be released as included in the future? I've been searching here on the forum and on google on how to make your own map. All I have found is more like mission making or adding some new props on an existing map. Earlier I have been making some maps for CS 1.6 and CSS, and there map making really means that you start from scratch. Are there any programs to do this and how hard is it to learn? I just wanna start playing around with mapmaking for arma 3 and maybe I will come out with a good map in the future. Even if it is hard to learn I don't mind trying it out. Some real answers would be appreciated. To clearify what map making is for me : Mapmaking for me is when you start of by shaping your world and progress from that. So I am not looking for some guide like "In built 3D mapmaker" since that thread imo was only about adding stuff into a already existing map. Thanks in advance! I had some sort of interesting bug last night. Was playing as usuall on MP servers with 30-50fps. Then all of the sudden I went down to 3-6fps and stayed at that, now I turned my eye towards MSI Afterburner that I have running to see some info, also has HWINFO64. To start of here is my rig : CPU - AMD FX8320 (8 core) @ 4.4GHz GPU - HD6870 @ slightly overclocked RAM - 8GB @ 1600MHz HDD - Regular 7200RPM And ingame stats when this occured : FPS - 3-6 Core usage - #1 23.6% #2 22.4% #3 10.6% #4 10.7% #5 9.9% #6 4.5% #7 18.7% #8 17.6% GPU usage - 0% (Why?) VRAM usage - 841 MB out of 1GB RAM usage - No idea, didn't have that selected. CPU Heat - 44 Celcius GPU Heat - 34 Celcius So I started to think, why is this game only running on my CPU and why ain't it using more power. Usually the game uses around 50-70% from atleast 2 cores. And my GPU usage is usually around 50%. This didn't fix itself even after still playing with around 5fps for 10 minutes. To fix it I had to restart the game and haven't seen this occur again. Someone knows anything at all about what the hell just made the game engine go crazy like that? I've had the game running for about 30 min when that bug occured. I do not expect a magic fix for this or anything just wanted you guys to know that some wierd things can occur. EDIT : This was on a almost empty server, we were like 10 guys on there and also had a friend with me and for him everything was normal.

Do you have a Thomson router? I have a Thomson TG789vn and what I had to do was to call my ISP and ask them to bridge my thomson, now I am using my own router of choice and everything works fine. I have heard many people are having trouble with this brand of routers and usually you are locked to it thanks to your ISP, but as I said there is a solution... Bridge it and buy a good router.

Yeah thats true, it was early in the morning and I'm gonna blame that for this one :) But yeah imagine if they had access to MP, I for sure would not play until beta releases in that case :P

Only thing I miss in Arma 3 server browser is a Favorites tab. Other than that its good :)

Just wait untill every person who has bought the game can give out keys to random people. Imo this is bad, there will be plenty more game destroying people and probably tons more hackers. I will not give a key to some random dude, I will only give a key to the ones I know irl, and thats the way it should be. I miss the old days when this "new generation" of game destroyers didn't exist.

I thought it was hackers, but if it happens on your dedicated server with password then maybe its a bug? It happens on every server I join, sometimes I play for 5 min and then turns into a seagull. And sometimes I play fine for 10 min. So I don't really know about this. But if more dedicated server owners can confirm this maybe? Or maybe you have given the password away to a hacker or is it only your friends playing on it?
