    Blastcore: Phoenix 2

I think the main problem right now is in textures and weapon handling (weapons as strings, really?). Regarding Blastcore, the big issue IMHO is the need to restart the game every time you tweak a simple value. Yay!

    Blastcore: Phoenix 2

Maybe not, but ArmA is notoriously CPU limited.Yay!

    Blastcore: Phoenix 2

My CPU will hate me. Those high def explosions though really show off the awful terrain textures the engine uses, it's jarring. I said it before, I really hope BIS completely changes the game engine for ArmA IV, what he have now is a serious mess IMHO: it really feels like bricks on bricks were randomly added to the original OFP engine using UHU sticks and hoping for the best. Yay!

    Blastcore: Phoenix 2

With this mod out, I'll be 1/3 closer to playing this game after months. The first third being tpw's package and the last one being Dragonfyre. Yay!
  5. tpw's package has little to do with AI, you may want to try bCombat regarding that. Yay!
  6. I really don't think we will ever see features like holstered weapons, proper reloading behaviours and complete customization options until the game engine is changed significantly. I really hope they make a big change in this direction with ArmA IV. Yay!
  7. You may want to try TPW FALL for that. Yay!
  8. Make sure you have your configs in /Arma 3/userconfig/@TPW MODS and not /Arma 3/@TPW MODS/userconfig. Also PM me your .hpp. Yay!
  9. There indeed was a bug that messed up the last part of the .hpp, but it should be solved now. I've lately decided to reimplement everything and slightly streamline the UI, but it will take a while. Hopefully ArmA won't go anywhere anytime soon. :D Yay!
  10. Right click on the .jar file > Open With > Choose Default Program > Java Platform SE Binary Yay!
  11. If I'm not mistaken that typical whizzing sound is completely unrealistic. Yay!
  12. There is a mod that lets you do this recombination: I haven't played in a while though hence I'm not sure if it still works. Mag Repack, by Outlawled. Yay!
  13. What normally shies me away from FXAA in other games is the added blurriness it brings, but ArmA implements a very nice image sharper with that form of PPAA that I just love and would like to see in a lot of other games. Speaking about AA, am I the only one that has negligible performance hits with maximum SMAA on? I'm talking about losing only 4-5 FPS going from no SMAA to maxed out SMAA. Yay!
  14. Well I guess the cable detecting systems that are nowadays present on any new military helicopter are some sort of radar systems already. Yay!
  15. I found the quirkiness causing the issue, sorry guys. I'll look for the issue and fix between semifinals and finals of the WCS (an hour more or less). Yay! EDIT: Ok the problem is tied to tabs being used in the last section of the .hpp (the #defines): this messes up the file parser. @all users: Just for this update, manually edit the .hpp and delete anything that comes after the #define number digits (blank spaces too), as well as replace the whitespace between "#define" and the digits with a single manually inserted space. This should fix the issue. @tpw: Any chance you could use normal spaces instead of tabs in the #defines section? Sorry for this.
  16. Could you please check the GUI version you're using? It's in the upper right hand corner. Yay!
  17. Something is probably amiss with the package, we'll have to wait tpw on this. You can PM me your .hpps just to make sure everything is fine if you want (remember we're talking about those in Arma 3's userconfig folders, not those in @TPW MODS one). Yay!
  18. Could you thus post the whole file here? Yay!
  19. You probably did not update your .hpp correctly. Check if tpw_bleedout_heartbeat = 1; exists after tpw_bleedout_ithresh Yay!
  20. Post your .hpp here. How did you update? Yay!
  21. Here is scan of my TPW INSTALLER folder using NOD32 (sorry for it being in Italian): And here are the sections of install.bat I'm afraid are being picked up by your AVs, I have commented them to explain what each line does. If for any reason you want to manually install the update, remembere to check "edits.txt" to update yuor .hpp with the new variables. Yay!
  22. Just remember to have the spawning modules active only on one client at a time.Yay!
  23. No, as I said previously they are just missing from the package. Yay!
