I do not believe R3F works with ALiVE as it is suggested above. We are having issues with vehicles that are not saving in positions where they have been left on mission restarts after saving the mission file. Each time all types of vehicles are back in starting positions and not where we leave them.

Don't play around with Dev Branch much on my end. I stick to the RC branches now when they come up.

I personally do not think they are the same thing as one was started long before the question was asked by the OP in this thread.

I would imagine that it was because it was referenced in this SITREP a few weeks ago. I had many people tell me that they believed that 64-bit was going to be included in the update. I was among one of them as I spent some time in the RC branch and noticed significant improvement in some areas. BUT ALAS...we were mistaken.

Understand completely about the large downloads and that was not a problem. Our guys were just getting confused not to mention that three of us were referencing the version before 4.3 that is up now, At any rate just so you know ALiVE likes to call each of your missle batteries an objective and it can bog down a server. I discovered that today when my objective count went up from about 85 to well over 1000 with just adding in a nicely placed Chinese ADZ on Tanoa. Time to drop back and punt and see what I can do to get what I need squared away...probably going to have to go with mobile SAM/SHORAD instead of static over the horizon type sites.

Hey Pook....can please you update your OP to show that you need to download all four parts (Pook 1, 2, 3 and Factions) on the OneDrive instead of the 2 parts that you have referenced? We have a few guys that are finding that the version we were using is not working for us with our mission. Thanks for a great mod though and a great guidebook.

Very nice images there Pook...keep it coming this way. Hopefully they can get these into the mod soon for a release so we can have some vehicles with these troops. -
Thanks for the hard work with this Genesis. I hope they at least got some hints about it from how you did things with your driving scripts.

As I said on the steam comments for this mod; its a little bit of a PITA but it works without having to chase code through your loadout .txt or .sqf files...revert back to the old version of SMA and load your mission and loadouts. Then remove the offending item and save your stuff. Then load the newest version of SMA and then you can add it back into the missions and loadouts. The update they pushed should have fixed it but just in case it doesn't for you then this is a sure fire way to fix the mission and loadouts. As I said yes its a PITA but it works. -
Any long range plans to have this as a non-CUP helicopter?

Yes it is a known issue and the best way is to just change them via the Zeus module. Also sometimes units are spawned into the water as well. -

Can't get the faction to work with ALiVE; is anyone else having this problem? -
Any idea why I could not get the vehicles to work with ALiVE Orbat Creator? Just curious as I was trying to build a unit setup with the VME PLA and the vehicles as well.

So if I am calling this for both the VCom_AI and VCom Driving in the script side I need these to go in the server init.sqf but do they go in like this? [] execVM "VCOMAI\init.sqf"; [] execVM "VCOM_Driving\init.sqf"; If not how should they be called on the server so that they are used correctly? Thanks in advance for any help. -
If you are using ASR_AI then VCom is kinda not needed and vice versa. If I was you I would use one AI mod or the other.

It looks like ACE is finally realizing that grabbing all this content and not spending the time to verify that it works together is catching up with them and they are moving towards a more modular concept rather than a big lump of stuff. At least that is what it appears to me being on the outside looking in. -
Any issues with the wrong key being accepted by the server this time around that anyone knows of? Please do not ever let this go to ACE...it works perfectly as it is without getting "integrated" into other things that already have bigger issues.

It's not that they have a bad mod; just the simple fact that in order to get my PLA forces to work I now have to use both Massi's PLA mod and VME to accomplish the same thing if I want to use chinese SAM launchers.
