    so I literally played 8 hours straight - couldnt stop - my head hurts my eyes burn but I feel awesome. My God is this awesome? its is!! its bringing arma to a complete new level of fidelity. Its awesome, i dunno what to say! examples

    multiplayer with vehciles and fights stuff is not possible. some zombie mods seem to work fine. maybe its air / tank stuff thats causing it?

    still the blurry midrange textures. thst the biggest poroblem atm. cause its game relevant. all the shader and effects arent..

    can s.o. set up a 50/50 testserver with non destructible houses / trees ?
  10. the first part was so well made. No campaign ever was so fluent and fun and good to play! Just wow!
  11. oh my gosh that sounds good - better than any simulation I heard before.. i hope there will be an earplug version - so I can use earplugs when firing a gun ^^

    in arma ll events are synced. and there fore the server fps has such a hit on the client fps i guess. in dayZ they want to make smaller sync bubbles - that idea I had 2 years ago aswell.. but i am only a forum pleb.. in games like ps2 there is not so much that has to be snyced>: hitpoints - direction - walking speed. in arma theres more.. the whole environment - car - open - times - state .. and even in ps2 the bubbles are really small sometimes (popping players at 800m or so).. but its the modern approach.. star citizen will do it the same style aswell.

    wow what a nice pic. and you say the engine scales down the textures automatically? Yeah I noticed this since ArmA 2 too... I guess the devs have to make this texture stuff - modders cant do it really well - but it looks so nice.
  14. some "life" / Movement, done by dust / Cloud shadows moving vegetation. in bf3 it doesnt look realistic - more like sea grass and trees out of gum, but it has an effect still...

    puh guys - i really wanna help out and that but pls - this is my rfee time.. imagine what i had to do: find out the error was all the same by browsing forums recreating talking to people find out where files are how they work etc find the right thread upload them after a crash etc find out which mission it was etc if this error is too strong, or it will take more time its okay - but pls - this thread is okay - i dont know how to make feedback trackers and everything.. dwarden - just fire up the mp mode of arma join some I & A - hop in a helo, go back to desktop and do your work -and check every 30 minutes till it crashes - pretty easy to gather rpt files and such...

    THE 3 related files you can find here: C:\Users\[NAME]\AppData\Local\Arma 3 This crash is just happened 5 minutes ago, after playing for 10 minutes... http://www.file-upload.net/download-8119456/arma3_2013-09-27_16-17-12.zip.html To play MP is senseless at the moment... @dwarden: I dont know if it happens in all missions, but this happened in Annex Mission: http://www.file-upload.net/download-8119468/co35_AW_I_-_A_SKS.Altis.pbo.html It happens since March in nearly all MP Missions.. Its not a rare problem, but most people dont know how to find out that its this prob. In fact I bet its the only crash Error that arma has at all. The server gives some random blabla message as error... Dont you have those crashes too?? What MP Missions are you playing then?? Just log into an mp mission let you fly around idle and check back after 20 minutes should have plenty of crashes... Just let the game run in the background...
