Shame I wasn't there. Was otherwise pre-occupied. But there have been a few good games on the server when I was there for a few days, even though most of them ended up with everyone dying, but yeah. There was one mission that was actually pretty much successful, but I ended up being the only guy left stuck in a pristine M60 on hill 319 (or something like that). I shoulda stuck with flying the Huey gunship, because I had forgotten how weak the engines on the M60 were for trying to go up hills. Thankfully when I got to the second hill, it had been previously napalmed (saw the after effects of it). I had to go AFK (after having killed most of the Charlies there on the hill. I don't know if any escaped because I couldn't find any. Some random dude must've escaped or something, because I couldn't locate him) and when I got back everyone left the server, so I ended the game and left myself. I have OFPwatch thankfully and hopefully I can catch a time where there are lots of people on the servers. Max I've seen was about 10-15 so far. Great servers, though, I do have to say that. Rather fun and can get intense....and as "LOL" implies, quite a bit of laughs when things go horribly wrong. EG, random explosions, people getting caught in blast radius of satchel charges (Yup...trying to assassinate General Guba. It worked. Then Snake planted satchel charges...I was stuck in the kitchen when they went off. The question, "Did I leave the stove on?" came to mind), landing in the wrong place at the wrong time (damn German machinegunner in woods. Poor Zulu. :P). Very good servers. Very good servers indeed. :D Everyone together can be a great Band of Lulz.

I really love the M1 Abrams, no matter the amount of them out there (as you said, mostly re-skins and re-models). This one so far is looking pretty detailed and I almost can't wait to see what it looks like textured. :)

I realize there has been a few Command and Conquer mods in the past, but I really still want a Tiberian Dawn based mod for OFP still. The converted Renegade Mammoth is really fun to play with in the Mission Editor, I'll admit, but I want full on GDI vs Nod action. Infantry, Vehicles, and special weapons. It's a big undertaking, but I think it'd be really cool still after all these years. I don't much care if people make a CNC mode with it...I just want full on conflict as if it were a real life conflict. Now, most of the models out there are technically already made, since Tiberian Dawn takes place in 1999 (start of the First Tiberium War. It ends in 2002. Look it up.). I don't think that the Nod stealth tanks would work completely effectively like they should, but they'd make for nice anti-vehicle/anti-air platforms at the least. If someone needs references, I will PM them to them. I'm even quite content if I am shown how to just reskin a few units (re-skin existing units but make them available separately. Something I have actually been wanting to do) since I can't model worth a crap. I realize I can't get everything that I want, but I just wanted to pitch this idea out there for those who were having the same ideas. It'd look pretty awesome seeing HMMWVs trying to attack a Nod base and an Obelisk obliterates them completely, like in the cinematics. That'd be cool, eh? Also...Napalm strikes and Ion Cannon blasts...that'd be cool. Cheers.

I've been playing BINMOD with 1.96 so far without any problems, really. Awesome mod next to WGL and WW4. Edit - Oh, my bad, you meant the next version. D'oh. This is what I get for typing at 1:51 AM... Disregard that.

When you get back, be sure to let me know, please. Some more games in WGL with ya will be rather nice. Wanna try that one with the BMP again when ya get back? :D Happy Thanksgiving. :)

Heck, I'll try it out. More missions means more things to shoot, typically. That's how I see it. :D I've been mainly lurking around the addons sections, but I need to check out the missions section a bit too, so...yeah, I'll be sure to try it out. I don't know how much feedback I'll be able to give, so I might sum it up as, "I like it." or something like that. Certainly looks interesting.

Central Standard Time, so yep. :) Yeah, I watched quite a bit of CiA videos and I was impressed with the style of play. The coordination and everything was quite awesome and what I am looking for in a group of people to play with. You guys definitely know how to fill in roles and know what to do whenever difficult situations are presented. But you guys also know how to have fun, that's for sure. :)

You guys looking for more players to join the server? Looking to carry out missions with actual players rather than just myself in single-player. The only one other time I was ever online in a milsim was in ArmA 1 with ACE playing along side the Silent Warriors and that was rather fun, but I want to play OFP1 online at least once in my life. lol. I have all the TacOps stuff downloaded and installed and have been looking to play in this server for awhile, but have otherwise been preoccupied. If you guys need me to tell you guys what I'm relatively skilled at, let me know. Nice pictures by the way. Sounds and looks like a well-rounded server.
