  1. Game now works on latest OS Sierra. Thanks!
  2. Hi, I'm running on a MAC OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite I installed the legacy port 1.76 from here: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Experimental_Ports Enter access code: Arma3LegacyPorts. This should unlock the legacyports - Legacy Build (1.76 - ports). When I launch in Steam, It doesn't even make it to the splash screen I just get a crash reporter. I have ran this game before on the same machine which was a while back this year, yet now it's unplayable. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Hi GBee2, Thanks for replying to the thread. I have tried the main branch but it doesn't launch. It's even worse because it doesn't even successfully produce a crash report.

    CD install issues

lol thats a new one :)
  6. It's win or lose really. Sometimes you have a good game, sometimes you don't. :bounce3:
  7. Hi, I just got ArmA 2 CO [Combined Operations] Thru post Boxed DVD Version. I was buzzing and it turns out Arma II Disk only doesn't read in my DVD. Operation Arrowhead [Thank God] Works and Read perfectly! So i'm left with 2 choices. Is it possible: 1. Return ArmA II Disc ask for a Resupply 2. Hope my other computer DVD's Drive will read it and just copy over files. But bear in mind I still need the DVD to play right? Does anyone know if Resupply is possible from Bohemia or Retailer? Has anyone done that before? Any one?
  8. Awesome Thanks :) I've got my other computer to read the ArmA 2 CD so i will transfer files from there. Abit annoying though lol
  9. haha Woah, You might be "under" is that your aggressive sub concious trying to kill you? ^^
  10. Lol I was in a laggy Coop server today. I had to anticipate the next 3-4 frames of the enemy i was shooting. Was a right laugh! I emptied my entire clips in 20mins of play xD Eventually had to scavenge AK's of dead people LOL
  11. Hey, Its cool. I got it fixed. Turns out it was more a registry problem since i had uninstalled everything. Securom got back to me with a Reg Fix and i think it did it really. On the other hand, my other guide, I've now found a more legitamate straight foward way: Just Install the RFT on another computer, Backup Reg's and Copy Main Folder and Export to Main Computer... simples. Tiz what I did. And then by the time Securom came in I tested the Error out and it bypassed it fine. Everyone's happy. Mod you can mark this as [solved]
  12. Hi all, Sorry! I know this is naughty of me considering i just joined and started a new thread by myself. But i didn't know of any better way in my current situation for getting assistance with my problem... After an oppressive long day in the music studio i find myself wanting to unwind and lose myself into my newly bought Arma 2 Reinforcements Game I just bought from GAME from a UK retail outlet. Literally today. So I lax in my chair and take out the CD or should i say DVD rather, insert it into my computer and run the AutoRun.exe for Arma 2 Reinforcements. It comes up with its music and I click on "Install REINFORCEMENTS". It disappears and then nano seconds later a window by the name of ARMA2_RFT comes up and tells me: "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (7000). Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=module&c=7000 for further, more detailed information." 1 hour passes by and looking for any emulation device it persistantly accuses me of having I give up. Tried googling this, but everyone seems to be having issues running OA and not the same problem im having. I tried securom's XP solution of downloading this Resource kit for windows and then running some fixreg.vbs over it, and it did nothing, not to my suprise. Ok, I'll just get down to facts and see if anyone can help: What's your spec? Windows 7 64bit 2TB 8GB Ram Geforce GTX 460 i5 2500k Sandybridge 3.3ghz (4 CPU's) dude i don't need to tell you it will Arma 2 in at least the lowest settings... Do you really have emulation software on that Machine? I did have daemon tools lite pro. However because of this game, I had to eventually wipe it off and all its registries to get this working. And it did work, because the error number changed. Have you restarted multiple times after each action? Yes Have you sent Securom an analysis file? No... because I want my problem solved now, and not when Arma 3 comes out Now I have ^^ - because I had no other option too... Pardon me, I'm quite a nice guy lol. Any suggestions? :butbut:
  13. Lol I can Quote Beagle on that. Any computer in Warefare because mainly its almost like uncapped how many units you can have when you purchase them. The amount of AI that get introduced in Warefare is extremely high and normally 30-40 mins in I get lagg, since mostly everyone has a platoon behind them at that point xD Have you got stuff like Anti Aliasing set on or other settings that when turned become a real pain for CPU?
  14. Are you talking about Stutter as in Online lagggggggggg? Meaning when your on a server and you freeze and unfreeze at certain points....... Or Stutter as in Graphically in Single Player ONLY you stutter? I'll make the assumption you stutter in single player too. Tell me what are your settings in Video?

    ARMA2 RFT help plz

Yeah, It said on the Damn Box "DOES NOT REQUIRE OPERATION ARROWHEAD" but yeah i guess i should have saw it coming for multiplayer. I would have thought RFT came with OA full and not lite... Lol I'll have to buy CO now. xD

    ARMA2 RFT help plz

Is it a possibility to just find that PBO and put it into the addons folder of Common? Sorry for rezing this, I have a similar issue.
  18. Sorry! I just wanted to show a solution for those who legitamately bought the game.
  19. Yeah you hit the nail on the head pretty hard there. I may have a small light with this user account business. But in all, no one should have to go through the measures I have to just to play a game I've bought. Since I found out that I can't be an admin without it activating the Securom. And I can't be a Standard Account without it telling me i need Higher Access [like a fricking admin.] I'm copying all the contents of the DVD to my Desktop in Admin mode. Sharing this folder with my Standard Account and tell the computer I can have permission to read or write in this or do what the hell i want. Then I will switch users to the standard TEST one and try and run setup from there. This better work............
  20. Error 7000. It's beyond me. Unless at the time when I uninstalled daemon tools there were some settings that were switched on, that would mean i may have to reinstall and undo those settings and then uninstall. But settings should be wiped out after uninstall and reg delete??? ---------- Post added at 11:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 AM ---------- hahaha... I created a new account. Just a standard one not Administrator. Logged in that. Ran Autorun then clicked Install REINFORCEMENTS. The pointer changed into a CD Check icon and then it said I don't have sufficent rights to perform install then closed. What I then did was logged out, went back into my admin account and then changed the Test account into an admin and then tried installing it again. It said "ERROR 7000" WTF!!!!!!? hmmm. I am going to experiement with the standard accounts, something could be achieved here.
  21. Here is what happens. Insert disk. Go to DVD Drive. Run setup.exe then: "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (7000). Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=module&c=7000 for further, more detailed information." It's Error 7000. I'm trying to figure out what it could be. Problems like this I've fixed myself, but for once its actually beyond me.
  22. I did that time ago. It should no longer a problem. Though there must be something still interfering. Shall I send a dxdiag?
  23. lol freaky I'm just on Securom Removal tool now actually! I'm following this guys method and see if it works for me: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1057303 Cheers will let you know how i progress! ---------- Post added at 10:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:01 AM ---------- It didn't work.............. And securom is wiped off my system. There is no trace of Daemon tools either and I made sure prior to proceeding with the install... There are rumours apparently if you have a DVD RW Drive Securom is abit iffy. But if that's the case, Securom should have contacted me before I bloody built my PC and told me to put a DVD Rom in it instead of an RW. there must be something else... I have to now find a way to bypass this check.
  24. UPDATE: Contacted Securom lately and as i feared getting no response except automated emails telling me "we'll get to you soon :-)" Are you out there?
