Even though the optimazation is terrible and performance is really low at the moment, you can't expect to get too many wonder-fixes from Bohemia. ArmA is a really hardware-using game, just keep in mind what's getting processed in the background. It'd be happy with either improving frames around 15-25 % or improving the techniques at current frame rate.

Calm down, it's Friday and nearly evening here in Europe. It was just put in in the last update, give them time to take it out again.

Mostly because they remirror their experiences from over the years. Name one building which had intense indoor-fights in the ArmA series. All were either not completely accessable, too tight for the clumpy movements or not accesable at all. And from Papanowels post it sounded like nothing changed, again.

Sounds and looks nice. A bit concerned about all the closed buildings. I hoped that finally we have large building complexes that are entirely open. Sigh.

Also some campaign, solo- or multiplayer, about climbing up the "blacklist" would be cool. You start with easy small jobs and they get bigger and bigger. Combined with building up your safehouse & decorating it... would be a lot of improvement.

Oh yes, Bushlurker is back for A3! :) EDIT: Alternate color for sky? Maybe a relatively normal texture/darkened with auroras or nebulars?

Why? Everyone knows it's still Beta and things get fixed. They will not say "Man, this huge ass military sandbox looks awesome, all this mod support, community, realism and... oh my god. What... what is that? Is that supposed to be rain? Oh my god I'm not playing that."

I wouldn't say that, but somehow I keep thinking that the progress and passion in the development of A2 was higher. Did the team change a lot?

If BI would be DICE/EA, you would enter that/use the ABC-weapons and a then a message pops up saying: "You have used ABC-Weapons, please buy the ABC-DLC or DayZ now. The game gets automatically closed and you will redirected to the Origin Store". :D

The ship is broken at the beginning and stuck at a off-shore wind turbine. The turbine gets broken as soon as the storm is at its highest, the ship is breaking loose and start crashing into the sea. It's not a d***, don't take it so hard. I also experience that player that are coming from BF3 and CoD and whatsoever are not playing well and wouldn't be able to play at UO and Co. AT THE BEGINNING. Because that's what FNGs are, they are new. Of course they can't play the game right. They have to learn and adapt to the way of how ArmA is played. If they keep on playing Domination on Public servers it's no wonder that they won't improve. Also about the camping: I agree, but I think the vast majority of casual players from casual games are just laying down with a Medic/Sniper/AT/AA/LMG Mix inside the mountains and snipe. It's getting reduced by ACE but it's still horrible. I personally will never play public again and will certainly never play outside of a community like UO. PS: Your signature owns your own post.
