There should be multiple jets in the release version

the F35 thats probally not going to be able to replace a squadron per year (16 per year are made, at the absolute best) and the pentagon wants to stop the program before they become more exppensive then they already are (only a couple of hundred billion over budget) -

no it does not, that has been made very very clear -
if the community got everything it wanted, everything would be a "core feature" and therefore nothing would be

would you prefer a paradox (at least the old one) solution, where they ship everything in a fucked up, unplayable state. or they release less, but working. thats good project management, deliver what you can in good form. whats bad is that they have told the "client" what features they might have, and given hard dates for stuff. the more i read the shit people post on the forums i come to 3 conclusions 1; hardly anyone has done any coding, and thinks games are some kind of magic that just happens 2; that every one has no idea that projects like this can go off schedule and that compromises sometimes must be made 3; that the policy of some companies where they simply do the game without responding to general talk, is a good idea (hidden smaller forums tend to work) -
its the stablest alpha i've every seen, some other things i'm doing at the moment will crash every 15min in the debug mode (and we are ~3 months from release)

steam disagrees, and since they are offically providing the mods directly to the user, they can and likely will be DCMA'd if someone gets pissy. ergo they own the work, so they can remove it instanly -
they lock down files about 2 weeks out, so no new changes, only clear bug fixes by QA. at the same time the devs normally start on a day one patch for whatever dosn't make the QA threshold of golding. don't expect any big feature changes that might break more then they fix once they lockdown. that stuff all goes into the first patches. the lockdown could be further out then 2 weeks, since they have retail copies as well, maybe as much as a month (would explain the beta standard locking down about now), likely the dev branch is about to, or already has, swaped over to the dayone patch cycle

though some games have issues with multi core GPU's, such as crisis 2 on launch and the AMD monster (the 5990/6990, i can't remeber the model) due to it not liking the multi part
-
i already have the fixed wing configs in my options menu. (or at least i did last week) have they removed it again (it was in for a while during the alpha)

A Large Fixed Wing transport aircraft for Arma 3

the airbus hasn't entered service fully, and neither has the 27j, so both those will be around until 2040 at least considering how spendthrift most airforces now are, and the c17 will probally still be in use. the 27j will probally fit the concept of being operated by both sides since its being sold all around the world. the airbus might suit NATO more though -

you know why its not ingame, legal issues over mod ownership, BIS needs to own those mods or the rights to them incase of any complaints since they will be the ones legally providing them and didn't the modding community throw a shit fit over that? -
what i want is for the armor that has multi lense periscopes to get them, some of the OPFOR units have 3 lense for the driver, with a center and one either side offset 22.5 degrees, but they only show the driver the foreward facing one
-
they had that feature in planetside 2 for one build, and it drove a lot of people mental. if you even slightly countered the recoild druing a burst, you ended up looking at your feet
-
you mean where the unit sinks into the ground at long ranges? i thought that was WAD to overcome the lack of grass ETC at long ranges due to the preformence hit
-
try your vehicle next target button
-
the redid the lock targets in a recent patch, check to make sure that not screwing it (if you haven't already :D)
-
i think its not, as after you use the FAK you are still showing some signs of injury. its more that the FAK alows you to remain combat capable
-
you designate, either by using the command keys (so press 2, then the number of the enemy) as long as the gunner is in your group. or you use the RMB while over the target. i would recomned rebindng this if you have a mouse extra buttons, so zoom dosn't unlock the target

anything is more stable and efficent as a CAS plane then a gimmicked stealth figther. the F-35 is a demonstrator of the fuck-up (their is no other way to put it) that is the US armed forces procurement strategy. its the best example in the last 20 years i have seen of a weapons platform for the sake of "cool" and reputation.
-
i think the TRG is basicly the F2000, and the M20 is some kind of MTAR variant the M20 is therefore (if i got it right) a crewman/CQB weapon, whereas the TRG is a bullup AR this is where the firing range challenges would be great if you could chose your weapon to get a feel for how it works in a focused enviroment

after certian events with greece and the follow up disallowence of any relation to said nation, are you suprised?
-
yep, its called the A10, maybe with a avionics upgrade. for its role the current platform is perfect. isn't that basiclly a MIG, that has part problems and issues with russian manufacture?
-
greenfor may get a eurofighter. but i agree that a L-159 equvilint will be ingame
-
the key part of that is that it only happens at low speed. at higher speeds the interia of the airframe overcomes the torque of the rotor. a coaxial can artifically increase torque to create a turning moment in a desired direction at a higher speed relative to a tail rotor
-
thats darker then mine was. it was actually quite visible when i played i, the lighthouse made it like day what are you settings? is every thing on low? if your GPU is actually alright you might want to try turning some stuff off and putting the rest on high, as then the GPU starts handling more load
