    Side missions are not rewarded at this time (might change in future releases) Also as long the squares do not turn green, expect more resistance (especially when they turn orange). Rewards are given when u do the main tasks like capture camp rogain, clear Agia marina etc etc.

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

    My Add on Request : A logistics vehicle with the capability to load different modules. it loads a Gas module and delivers to the airfield, unloads, drives back, picks up a repair module to deliver at a vehicle depot. Mean while in the field the soldiers have taken a remarkable part of Altis. The distance between the front lines and the base makes it difficult to resupply them, the need for a resupply point closer to the front forces our engineers to build a new FOB. so the MAN/Scania or a Future model picks up a HQ module and brings it to the suggested location. Our troops are needed to defend that given strategic location, pick up a module and transport them there. the possibility's are endless, u can place so much stuff on such a vehicle. I was hoping the devs would do such a thing with the HEMTT truck. But anyway, for example : Refuel module, Repair module, Vehicle ammunition module, HQ Module, Troop transport module, Anti air module, Radar module, Flatbed module to transport vehicles. It add's a completely new gameplay to the game (logistics) Be aware, never leave base without protection from an armed convoy.     @ KalGaNoff u shure u played the latest release 0.1.2, at the time u got that error ? @ cuppa ill test it some more and see if it needs fixing, although in next release u wont be able to nock over the sign.

    I don't know how u did that. if I order them to group up and form formation I can go where ever I want, and they follow.

    I disabled allot of functions cause they conflicted with other scripts (my scripting experience) plays a role in this factor :) , perhaps I drop it back in in later version. First post updated...

    I think the resources u have to your disposal now is more than u can wish for. only one error left wich only pops up once at the start of the mission (first post updated)

    u guys are on stable version or development branche ? I am running for 6 hours and it keeps going on latest development branche. if u guys have suggestions and or solutions I am all ears :) next version I am cleaning it up and (as suggested) perhaps make a MHQ capability.

    nice mission, I only get a error message about a nato sign ? that isn't there. also I would have taken the green teams inserting by chopper out, they do not seem to add to much to the MP experience. apart from that a realy fun mission with lots of action.

    nice addon, I love the tactical shotgun allot. but accuracy of the benelli with a holo sight is way off.

    Map limits for A3?

    I managed to get a terrain size of 40960x40960 with a satellite texture size of 81920x81920 into visitor :) trying to build a nice warm island of Ibiza. still have to figure out the road shape files and proper tools to get rid of the error 58 message in log file.

    bravo two zero 8 man strong SAS team, never crash landed. they flew in by helicopter from sirya did a quick refuel just infront of the Iraqi border, they got ambushed on their way to take down the enemy's communications facility's, to slow down enemy scud launches. their radio transmitter wasn't working properly or they had the wrong radio codes, so they couldn't ask for emidiate extraction. from that point it was an escape and evade mission. during their escape they killed halve of the enemy hunting force, the team accidentally split up in the middle of the night some got captured "andy mc nab" some froze to dead some got shot and one realy escaped "chris ryan".

  24. yes. u download your hight data here : http://gdex.cr.usgs.gov/gdex/ there u get your hight data and coords those coords u put into universal maps downloader to download satallite image. Global mapper only needs the .tiff file, coord info is embedded in the .tiff file. [edit] over 66.000 satallite tiles downloaded today.
  25. for a small terrain the world imagery is usefull, but with a bigger terrain size u run into trouble realy fast. as u encounter issue's like different tiles from different seasons/years in your downloaded sat image. i must admit it does give u a 100% fit on your terrain wich is realy a + but i ran in this issue myself for atleast a few times with world imagery. apart from that u cant download such high resolution with Global mapper. all other stuff in Global mapper is amazing i use it allot myself but this is just my two cents.
