  1. Then you're probably flying the two seater version, the F/A-18F with the WSO in the back. Switch to manual fire or take the single seat version, the F/A-18E.
  2. Switch weapons by pressing "F" by default.
  3. Yeah, and update on the progress of the mod. Its being mentioned time and time again on these forums that this is something modders post on their own terms. Cmon man, just be a little patient ^_^
  4. I can tell you when the next update is going to be... when its here.

    APEX Drakon Jet-Powered UAV

No its not Battlefield 4, but it is a game. And it would be unrealistic to expect 100% accurate UAV simulation as a mod for Arma. Not only would it be kinda boring, having to wait 20 hours for the UAV to arrive on target and then not getting to fire your weapons because they're too expensive, only observe the target. Arma 3 is a game, its just a bit smarter and more in depth then other games. Its supposed to be fun first. Simulations are used to train people and tend not to have much of a "fun" factor to them. The Drakon is intuitive and easy to use which is the way it should be, because that way anyone can learn easily to use it in for instance an online game. You don't want to divide players to much by skill or what they like to play as.

    US Naval Warfare Pack [WIP]

Wow! You guys are really stepping up the scope of this project, really amitious. I wish I could be of assistance but I'm still sort of discovering modding and spending the rest of my time on school. Maybe some time later, I wish you guys best of luck on this endeavour :)

    WSMODS+WEAPON PACKS help

I would advise against using the Arma 3 launcher all together, it doesn't work very well, and the workshop integration is a bit weird. I would get a 3rd party application like "PlayWithSIX" or "Arma 3 sync" to launch and manage your mods. But besides that this thread probably belongs in the "troubleshooting" sub forums.

    United States Air Force( 2015)

Honestly the only person who could take on such a task would be Opticalsnare who made the excellent Blastcore Phoenix FX overhaul mod, but I'm not sure he's ever going to return to the Arma community or modding as a whole. You could try sending him a PM.

    US Naval Warfare Pack [WIP]

Seeing you're kinda new to the community the answer to this question is always "when its done", on every mod regarding every subject.

The US just did a big life firing exercise with South Korea and I don't know why but I felt the need to post it here:

    United States Air Force( 2015)

Sure but its not as easy as you make it seem, its not like you can tell the game to install an MFD in the cockpit.

Well the AC-130 in the USAF mod has it, but also this one: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22594 And then there's also this: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=25763

Yes that is possible, infact there's already code for this in the vanilla game, and some user made aircraft already have this. I'm sure it will be implemented in the USAF mod at some point.

    Blastcore: Phoenix 2

The problem was that Hope Johnson initially didn't present it as a patch to Blastcore but as a standalone mod of his own work, I mean he called it "Hopecore" for christ sake, while clearly the content was stolen. Only later after an enormous feud with OS and his supporters and being banned from the forums did he change the discription as being "a patch to Blastcore", but he has still never really apologized or asked OS for his permission to use and modify his code. What people need to realize is that pretty much any type of modding is supported by BI for Arma 3 with the exception of war FX. For some reason there has never been an easy way to create custom FX for Arma which is evidence by the fact that OS has been the only person in the 16 years that BI has been making military games, to ever take it upon himself to create a dedicated FX mod. You can implement your own models, game code, animations etc without much of a problem if you know what you're doing. But creating custom FX for Arma is bascially just a huge pain in the ass. And it doesn't help that BI pretty much breaks Blastcore with every new update. Having said that its quite remarkible that OS has managed to keep it alive and running for this long, and what you need to understand is that Blastcore was never intended to be for everyone. With that I mean that you need some serious hardware to get the full experience, yes its hard on your frames but if you're already barely scratching 30fps without Blastcore, that is just isn't for you. Not unless you get an upgrade. I just hope that BI sees the popularity of Blastcore, sees how much people love it and finally decide to get their heads out of their asses and replace to laughable vanilla effects at some point.
