If this helps you with updating the mod to the upcoming stable release, currently when I load AiA on devbranch the game screams "'loadafterA3data_c_pvpscene' requires addon 'A3_anims_f_config_wmn'." I think I noticed a few more voice actors now after the most recent patch, which might be related to the error mentioned in the previous post. I hope the stable patch comes here soon and you can get this sorted as I want to go back to Chernarus asap;)

  3. I went to dev heaven and checked feature requests and ive found this one: "make A2/OA use A3 effects." What's hiding behind this? Does it include A3 streetlights by any chance? Btw, thanks for the update! :)
  4. you'd need to oped the p3d file (model) in o2 and remove muzzle flash proxy. That of course requires access to unbinarized models, which is not easy.
  5. As already mentioned, streetlights barely function in chernarus. Would it be possible to reassign A3 lights to A2 worlds? I apologize if you have already answered this question. Again, I can't thank you enough for your continuing support of this mod. Been playing on Cherna again and having a blast. :)

    really good job on the steyr! rotating muzzle flash, proxy positioning, etc all working great. i was wondering if it'd be possible to add ironsight to the weapon? i have yet to see a snap of real life steyr with ironsights but would that be such a big stretch? just a thought. again, great job! thank you for sharing this. :)

  8. There's a problem with this change: "OPFOR recon units inventory loadouts changed to match their BLUFOR recon counterparts." Apparently opfor have no primary rifle now; just pistols.

Highlights: 1. custom suppressor in different camo variants 2. z-point sight in different camo variants 3. smg muzzle flash 4. new AI engagement ranges 5. new inventory icons Thanks to pomigit, you can now enjoy all these different camo textures! Well, folks, it's been a lot of work, so enjoy and leave a nice comment ;)

  12. Thanks Alwarren! Since we are on an island, and since ive just learnt how to apply new camo textures, Ive decided to go with one more camo variant: cool dark blue. :)

  14. Firstly, thank you so much for continuing support! Secondly, I still have to replace the aia.characters with the pbo from the very first release if I want the following setup: A3 characters vehicles and gear; CO maps; CO gear, vehicles, etc. manned by A3 characters. Would it be possible to include the aia.characters that allows this configuration in the optional folder? Regardless, great job! Finally I dont get cba errors, which is good news. :)

A quick update on what's going to be included in the next version: 1. dedicated suppressors in different camos 2. zeiss optic now as a separate, modular attachment (which means the mp7zp version will be discontinued) 2.1 hopefully pomigit will work his magic on creating camo textures for the zeiss optic 3. slight changes to the config (in particular, AI engagement ranges [i noticed AI were reluctant to use the weapon when they really should have], smg crosshair) 4. correct icons for the weapon plus indicators for attachments in use at any given moment I am not going to work on a pistol version (no stock, held like a pistol) so do not ask. Release: soonish.

    Thank you very much for keeping the scripts up to date! I really appreciate it as I use them on a regular basis and don't really see any missions without them.

    Looks much better already. I'd still increase it, but that's me ;) I was thinking of those recoil settings. Probably safer to specify your own unique settings as you will be independent of BIS and whatever changes they decide to implement in sdar recoil. Plus you get more customized settings. Here's a link to wiki with recoil settings for different A2 weapon classes. Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need any input/testing, etc.
  19. FHQ Accessories only config added (see first post). Thanks to Spectre for testing it. As for making it compatible but not mandatory, I do not know how to pull this off. In a sense it's already non-mandatory as long as you are ok with tolerating an error message that pops up the first time you launch a mission with the addon. You can ignore it, press enter, and continue playing (the game will allow you to do so). As for the zeiss optic variant firing off center: noted. I will fix it with the next big update, but that may take a while.

    Re dynamic muzzle flash: look at this post. I hope I have explained this ok there. FHQ accessories work if you use the pbo overriding BIS attachments, provided in the latest release of FHQ. Still, not a bad idea to release a dedicated config with FHQ dependency? Re iron sights: I'd even sacrifice realism for the sake of usability in the context of the game. Bis ironsight apertures on A3 weapons are all quite large and highly usable.

    Thank you! A great looking model there. The only detail I do not like is the size of the ring of the back iron sight: it's too small really to be useful at short range. Any chance you can cut out a bigger whole? Again, thanks for sharing your work!
