  1. I have to say that it also irritates me a bit. Artificial balancing is horrible. I'm personally disappointed, especially the comment on GM6 Lynx was a huge let down :/. I thought by recreating something in Arma devs would make it as close to reality as possible... and now we've got GM6, and I suppose only the visual aspect is real...

    Noticed that after watching this for n'th time... GUYS PLEASE let the pilot control non-guided rockets. Even though Comanche has those DAGR, and they are guided I believe that the pilot should have control over them! Simply he should have the target in front, aiming the comanche at it and pushing the right button to acquire target(ka50 - with only pilot can do that, and in arma we have 2035) . You've made a great thing in beta patches in Arma 2 that helicopter pilots have the ability to shoot non-guided rockets(it's both realistic and fun!). Anyway, the pods would be open when the pilot would choose rockets(he might be able to switch between none(stealth) and rockets) or the gunner would choose the "hellfires". While the pods closed it would be harder to acquire target :>(well.. it's comanche... "stealth" helicopter), by that i mean you would have to be more precise with aa launchers and it would take longer to acquire tracking.

    Well it is kinda Merlin... but not by the name, exactly like merkava is not named merkava in Arma. Strange though that they've decided not to use real names(except comanche). Ehh, those licensing issues.

    It even happens in Arma 3 now but rarely. It all depends if you have a lucky shoot to the rotor blades. I suppose that this mi48 got his rotor blades totally destroyed(although they were intact... just not moving) like sometimes in ah6.

    Oh i hoped for a bit more equipment to be shown :P. Awesome scopes, disappointed with the interior of Comanche ;) but I heard it's wip. Oh... and titan/tytan(?)... pity that it didn't work like Javelin in ACE. It looks soo much cooler. Well anyway... we'll see. You've given us the scopes ;), I hope for more ;).

  8. There is a slight bug in stable patch, the rockets are not exactly accurate when fired upon locked target ;) (at least it was like it... i didn't play stable patch for a while :P). Fixed in dev patches ;).
  9. Hey there, what will happen if I will buy alpha as a steam gift, but i will keep it until the beta/final arrival? Will it also change in my gift inventory or it will change after giving it to a friend? I want to buy it for a friend :P, but he is not exactly sure if he wants to buy arma :p. So I will keep it until I will convince him ;].

  11. Yeah, we should have an animation for the reloading of M320 ;) after every shot. Although the Lynx is semi-automatic so no reload needed after every shot, and i disagree with the silencer. Imo if it's not real/possible, they should not do it.

  13. The sound indeed should be tweaked I suppose. From 400 meters(!!) the Lynx is barely hearable(it's really that quiet?), and have to agree with M320 has really low recoil for such a rifle. While I understand Lynx( ) with all that fancy systems to reduce recoil, i don't get the M320, and it seems that Lynx in RL has faster rate of fire ;).Furthermore silenced weapon at night gives too much light. (take a pistol at night with silencer, shot! Compare to: at 1:10)http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=6442 <-- ticked for that
  14. Love the new sniper rifles... although we need wind desperately :P with the possibility of measuring it(in a range-finder for example). Couse right now, killing someone from 2,4km is a bit too easy ;). Edit. and you've changed the sprinting animation with pistol... that's good imo, the previous one looked a bit strange :P(the hands were strangely twisted)
  15. Hello everyone. Unfortunately backpacks have VERY unrealistic volume. For example in a simple assault backpack you can fit 4/5(!) Tar 21. I suppose it's like that due to the fact that it only takes the volume of the item not the shape of it which is rather very wrong. It would be great to have it in a more RPG style(as an example of the idea http://ingomar.wesp.name/2011/10/deus-ex-human-revolution-review/deus-ex-human-revolution-inventory.jpg), based on "squares"(or something analogical) and the fact that it takes into account the shape of the item(and how much space it takes). I suppose the inventory still is wip? I've tried to search for such a problem on the forum but didn't find any. I've also created a ticket for such a feature. If you think it's a good idea, vode up.   16. I've already seen that in some missions(for example Whole Lotta Stratis), unfortunately I did not unpack it :p. I suppose it's even possible to add limited save games etc.
  17. Then the mission maker can create manual save points using for example "radio" :)

    AA with FXAA the best, unfortunately very hardware heavy. I'm personally using FXAA(i like it sharp). I don't thing there is difference in demand for hardware between SMAA and FXAA.

    If You are loosing fps due to AA, then your gpu might be the problem, not the cpu.

    Omg lol, rly, where did You read that? We are all off-topic here :P, it all should be in different topic ... oh and btw. I didn't say it was a bad thing! Read! I totally agree that we need some inertia, i loved arma 2, but it's a VERY dangerous thing to do now. I'm not talking about sprinting, I'm talking about holding guns and aiming.

    Although I have to say that whole interia was one of the "problems" of Arma 2 :P. So i wouldn't say that going "back" would be the best idea. Btw. We're going offtopic here I suppose :P. Those are not development reveals ;]
