Getting same crashes here. Can play local for 10 minutes some times and others for 2 hours.

I meant these lines are the same when my game crashes. The black sky is something different. But I'll play locally and sometimes I can play 5 minutes and get a crash and other times maybe 30 minutes or other times 2 hours. For now I have given up. As soon as I get interested I crash or the sky goes black. I'll update and test and report, but so far no luck with anything. Some wishes: - Fill up at gas stations again - Can't shoot out tires like before - Can't shoot out vehicle lights (Hopefully coming as it would be a nice feature at night to shoot out the vehicle lights!) - Medic bag with unlimited bandages or 10 or 20 that doesn't take up too much room and ability to heal wounded team-mates and yourself. - Binoculars in inventory should be default - Hope to see markers of yourself on the map again and be able to set waypoints. Or maybe better, make it a settings option that people can turn on and off if they want. - Night Vision is hopefully coming - More ability to run over small trees, fences, gates - Hold breath while aiming like past - In 1989 were there range finders? Be nice to have a range finder again! - Glad you can still carry whatever you want. I carry a sniper weapon and machine gun and medic bag in Arma and can still do that, well hopefully a medic bag will be coming like before!! I hate it that in games where you are locked to a medic or sniper, etc. - I'm sure there are more.......

I have about the same errors. I have had the past 3 driver versions for my 2070 card. That is all I have installed is the base driver and physx driver. I even installed the driver fresh install and still have issues. The one bugging me is the blue sky turns black. If I go in and change the resolution in Arma Reforger settings and go back to the game then it's fine. May be fine till I quit or crash or may come back later. Go back in and can switch the resolution back as well and does the same thing. But to temporarily clear it up and get it to look normal again I have to go into settings and switch the resolution or set it to something else and back and it's fine then. Tried all kinds of different Reforger settings and nothing seems to help or make it worse. Just randomly happens. Are they considering it a bug or is it just part of the update and have to live with it?

Hi all, I've been around since Operation Flashpoint days and lost touch a little with Arma 3 here for a while. Just updated to 1.60+ update and notice a halo around the body when in third person? Anyone else seeing this and know of a fix? Been searching and can't find anything. Thanks!

I have seen the flicker too and been bugging me since alpha was released. I agree with BangTail, the beta seems to have done some damage to SLI in general. I'll have to try what RadicalAtHeart said about using Split Frame Rendering and see if that does anything.

I wonder how much of a difference using a PCIE Flash Storage would make? Apple is getting close to 800MB Read and Writes on its Mac Air's and the Mac Pro they are saying 1200MB/sec. Think about that, an SSD is getting roughly 400MB/sec if your lucky! Hopefully if Apple starts making these mainstream the prices will start coming down. Was going to say the same thing, it reset my settings with beta being installed and the performance was horrible. Had to make adjustments here in order to get it running again. Key binding got reset as well if you have any set you will need to set those up again as well.

I thought we were getting the bigger island, I was disappointed not getting it. They showed it during the live stream and stuff I thought it was coming with the beta.

I'd overclock, why not push the CPU to its limits. If you can run stable with it OC'd then do it! Get much better performance! Think your nuts if you don't!

Hope you have better luck than me! I built my machine just for Arma 2 a month or so before its release and it would barely run it. Only way I could get it to run was overclock my processor and get a better video card. Next time I'll wait a year or so after for the next gen of hardware.

I blame the Arma 2 Free because thats when things went down hill. Had it a little bit before, but after its been a nightmare. Can't even get through playing without some idiot coming in and blowing the base up and respawning everyone, etc. Just don't get what people get out of that. You must use the Free Arma I take it?
