same here. EDIT: No longer CTD, tried 3 times to get it running, 3rd time was a charm. working fine now.

Had the alpha since Tuesday clocked 12 hours of play. Loving it, could do with more units and such to play with but i`m happy to wait and play with what i got. Haven't had a single crash or issue with it from install to play its all smooth and lovely. Spending most of my time in the editor, AI firefights, search and destroy missions, Cqb town clearance, fire support missions, i could go on and on :cool: I don't have an issue with the graphics, its alpha stage and my system seems to run the game with no problems (AMD FX 8120 @3.5 GHZ. 1GB GTX 550 TI. 8GB DDR3 RAM) Too much time talking, not enough time playing! :D

Might struggle to make Saturday as that's a work day for me. I'll try and catch the next one. Don't really like the public servers so I'm looking forward to play/test with you all.

thanks for that link, but if you search for "Arma 3 Alpha" your steam client should find it. I couldnt connect to bis store for love nor money it must be getting hammered big time right now.

Ditto. I have most games, bf3, cod, etc etc But arma is the only game that pulls me back for more. No ifs no buts i have £60(for the supporter version) ready and waiting for Tuesday.

Arma 3 Digital Deluxe Edition (€ 34,99) thats the cheapest option to have alpha/beta/full game

£60 for the supporter version...consider it bought.

I have the same graphics card but with following hardware: 8 GB DDR3 ram, AMD FX 8120 @ 3.5ghz I am able to get 40-70fps on default settings. Your Cpu is the problem would be my bet.

Excellent work, Made some epic anti armour missions with them last night. AGAA1 load out is lovely, really enjoying knocking out armour with the BRIMSTONES. :)

I`m loving the simple support module. I can now have constant supply of air strikes, arty, troops, ammo etc at my fingertips. I am having a blast filling takistan with enemy units, and seeing how much devastation I can achieve.:D

Anyone else noticed that the Delta force soldiers have a tendency to engage the enemy with their pistols? Thats neat at 10-20 meters. but i had one drop beside me and open up with his pistol at the guy i was trying to drop 200 meters away. I knew Delta were "Elite" but that elite?

Pre-order is downloading now, should coincide with the release in a few hours if i`m not mistaken.

AVIBIRD 1 perhaps you should rename the topic: Arma2 wont be released for 360 go and get OP:DR. Since there is no new info for the development of Arma2 on 360 and hasnt been for ages, Its no wonder that users are looking towards codemasters.

Get yourself Windows 7 RC1 its a free, it will give you better performance then Vista, everything else is good to go!
