  2. Yup just download also bought the dlc bundle when karts came out. Loaded simple test mission went to hop in any seat of helis an "heli is locked" an than steam store pg offered to show up to buy the dlc I already own.

    Will make a point to pay attention to that mainly been just using the profile created in Virtual Arsenal though I had a few times went to the "Save Loadout"(in red) to save a current loadout(I created with VA) so I could spawn with it at an mhq versus going back to base an picking/changing to the loadout I just died with etc. Was'nt really looking for bugs between the two though will keep an eye on it today. Yeah makin it a server mission setting would be nice, some of the guys in my server like it simply because it allows weapons that guys can't normally use an allow the character customcreation they want. Course you had that also in the gear/uniform crate also. Just woke up so hope this makes sesne :D

    The version of your guys Domination on my server has a working Virtual Arsenal if u want it. It's in the crate to the right of the clothing crate.

    Yeah I dunno trying a differnt one now that just enables it via the init line of the ammo box vs the other one that had a named box an other code to get it to work. Seems like maybe Domination did'nt like the 1st one so if this one works will use til you guys come up with somthing more stable. Funny thing about ArmA editing is it can be either very easy to use or flat out just breaks everything or causes unwanted effects.:j:

    Got BIS Arsenal in mine which actually is better than VAS since it has every wearable item in the game in it an better functionality(I think) than VAS. If it's up on my server now if u need the mission.Was very easy to implemant with a lil help. Lil update about the side missions i been doing another player informed me the clear water mine field needs a repair tool an mine detector(hav'nt confirmed on my own yet). Found the "End Side Mission" dunno if I maybe broke it by using it or what happend but other day the side missions would pop up 2 at a time an auto complete so had to restart server to fix. Edit.. Ok spoke to soon. Have no way of testing this other than ploppin on my server an running an found that i was only one able to use the BIS Arsenal not sure if thats a JIP issue or a clientside issue also was lil suspicious of the guy that could'nt as he had clones spawning with em(maybe nothing) just me. Anyways will got the code of a tutorial a guy posted on youtube to get the Arsenal working. If I recall he said it should work on MP but had'nt tested. Willkeep looking. I'd add VAS but I'm a lil if'y about adding more code to current init line's (fear I'll break something I can't fix)in missions otherwise i'd just throw in VAS.     I just noticed how my view distanced all a sudden became limated to maybe 500m was @ the factory complex in Athira on 1st town an from one of the roofs the far side of town was pretty obscured. Almost 100% positive I had fog off an Dynamic Weather on. Will keep an eye on it further as I restart the server daily.

    That was my next question(adding VAS) but you answered above. While playing yesterday we had an unusual (weather or View distance issue) while playing it just all a sudden became foggy for all clients on the server out too maybe 1000m max or so(I prefer 5000 an could'nt set 5000, terrain did'nt adjust). Attempted to adjust it in (U) settings but fails also rejoining did'nt fix. Almost positive I had dynamic weather on an fog off.

    Yeah sry I sometimes need to think b4 I reply was in regards to the side missions an the errors we got other nite while playing. An the other part was trying to sort what param in settings turns on an off the analyse/repair option.:bounce3:

    Thanks yeah I was setting it too off when it needs to be set to on(yes) vs (no) amasing how easily they brain can play tricks on u. Did I set that to yes or no last time. :D Also the clear water mines side mission can't be completed, or at least me an another player tried everything(would've drove a boat into em) pretty much tried everything i could to get it to either fail or complete. Finally gave up. Note I was explosive specialist an had no option to deactivate it. All in all love the mission.

    Is there a time delay on scripts initialising when u restart the mission? Trying set the correct options for allowing vehicle emergency repairs(analyze/repair) an well probably makin this harder than it is but just can't seem to get the param set right(old or new repair options in params. Also somtimes when seeting view distance at mission start regardless of what it's set to it's stays on like 500m or so an sky is very cloudy, though usually restarting the mission will fix. Not sure if maybe it's a jip issue or somthing.

    Hey I remember that in ArmA1 was some fun times in those Camels:bounce3: Short gameplay test with ai I did earlier, in the bouncy heli ai seems happy to be able to defend themselvs now :D Just happy to see this feature make it into the game!!! can only imagine some of the stuff the map makers going to come up with not to mention the modders using that. Is it possible to use that code from helis say to add seats to rear of apcs an ride into combat in style like in WW2? :D

    I was even able to toss grenades from the lilbird, has to be one of best features to date that BIS has planned implimeanted truly remarkable. I remember back in ArmA1 days only dreaming of such a feature now here it is...very awsome BI!! Does anybody else get the camera shake in cockpit it 1st an 3rd person view? Is that a bug? or above posts said turbulance?:butbut:

    IMO fatigue should be a clickable difficulty setting in the game difficulty settings an NOT forced on us players. Think that would definatly settle some of the masses, or have it a server side setting like the some of the others for VON map voting etc.

    Good to hear really looking forward to what u come up with. IMO just the basics to start with the port over to Altis to kick things off maybe than later. have you even tried Unsung with AllinArmA in ArmA3 ? Just curious. Shelved ArmA2 (wont run past world load screen) so put a damper on Unsung for me.

    Thanks, yeah I had gotten to that part the problem I was having is locating the correct marker tied to each town ring an the markers associated with it (I assume those were reinforcments spawn loc's) an than also sorting out town names an what town names to replace in the mission folder(target town list) etc. Also the save loadout does'nt work for me so was trying to get VAS to work but there was another conflict with some code that breaks the VAS script.

    Tried editing an earlier Stratis version of Evo that was semi stable an porting it to Altis, needs alot of work an some vital assets are missing an I'm not exactly a wiz in the editor so gave up. Hopefully we hav'nt seen the end of Evo for ArmA. An yeah like s1 in another post put it ArmA3 is missing somthing an I agree an think Evo would stem that. Can only play so much I&A.

    Not all servers allow mods but it's ok...does the trick. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?155553-VTS-Simple-weapon-resting I dunno how hard it would be to implimeant but I recall it might;ve been one of the features on the features list b4 release that got scrapped. maybe they'll add it later. Maybe a weapon's dlc or somthing who knows.

    Yep had many many hrs of fun in ArmA1 an ArmA2, even more so in ArmA1 as it was the 1st real mission using the entire island b4 the US release came out an added so much fun to the game. B4 gamespy went kaput I still played it from time to time on ArmA1.
