Guess most people would have expect some new ingame pictures or even a cutscene from A3. Is there really nothing to show + say from A3 development or is all work on A3 temporarily stopped until DayZ is done/released?

@Alwarren - which of those other game project(s) are profitable enough so BIS can "rely on" making profit? It would be awesome if BIS would find a "perfect" solution for different types of gameplay without sacrificing the milsim aspect! But I have my doubts that this milsim aspect is or will be a strongpoint in A3 and for BIS devs anyway. Besides, if BIS want to sell something (and make some profit) BIS have to get the attention and interest from their potential customers.... unfortunately many people do know about release status of BIS games and do know how unstable/vulnerable mp is. Lets see if BIS can turn water into wine! ;)

BIS as company is interested in maximizing their profit too. If the consumer interest/demand in milsims are low or declining they have to make some changes to survive. I highly doubt that actually so many players do have the patience and will to play a game without "insta-action&gratification" gameplay and features.

There will be always more people who play casual games/shooters and most of them never want something different or something more demanding to play. Just look at the release cycle of popular games/shooter franchises (incl. DLC / special offers) - do you really think those publishers/devs aren't aware about the "life cycle" of their projects? Do you really think that they don't know when their customers and/or fans need another "fix" or "new popcorn"??

If you want to see some more military simulators/simulations just look for CAE, Thales, BAE, Rheinmetall, Elbit and others.... RTI are just trying to use cryengine to sell whatever product they build/develop on it. Similar to gamedevs who bought a certain game engine and trying to make & sell their projects/games. It's their own decision to take risks and make profit! Guess most buyers of professional military simulations are interested in getting something they want and need for a good price/deal. ;) -

AI using binoculars (black one) too often even in urban/dense forrest areas. AI switching to their handguns/pistols (+ silenced) too fast + unreasonable and after this they don't - can't (?) switch back to their primary weapon eg assault rifle/machinegun = AI stuck with pistol in hand. Would be useful to have an option to "micromanage" AI so these and similar very annoying AI issues can be overridden by the player (as team/squad leader). -

You need a precise option to target/select a contact and you need a feedback about the current lock status in default A2OA. The scroll list is not precise enough if there are more enemy vehicles of the same type around or if more enemy vehicles appear from a certain direction. AI isn't able to communicate and act smart like human players so something userfriendly has to be found to command and control AI. Imo A2CCP should bugfix only that stuff what BIS forgot or never intended to touch again eg getting all A2 stuff on OA level. Simple - leave personal preferences and tweaks for addons/mods. -
Or someone just tested this CIWS variant on this ship and left it there? Novaya Zemlya was and still is a military area. Russians are pragmatic eg putting a CIWS on a trawler = stronger trawler = saves cash - no need to buy new expensive guard ships = more money for Vodka. :p

What about an option to switch between "quick examination" and "normal examination" time/procedure for each medic / civilian doctor in A2OA? For example: "Quick exam" = faster medical analyse, but a bit more prone to mistakes/oversights and used mainly in battles. "Normal exam" = longer medical analyse, less mistakes/oversights happen and used in safer places. -

Would be much better if tickets/changes for A2OA Patch 1.63 would be based on somewhat real/logic instead of "for the sake of balanced gameplay" or just personal preference/opinion. The main focus of A2CCP should be more on fixing issues, bugs and get A2 stuff to OA level. Please, dont get sidetracked to "(over-)tweak" all the A2/OA stuff so people have to re-make their missions/campaigns/addons/mods just because of A2CCP. :) -

Just curious what is so difficult to make AI AT units fire their AT on vehicles with turned out crew? Just place yourself in a AT team and let the opponent tanks drive around on "save"... Kinda silly if those AI AT units trying to kill a little target (heads/upper body of crew) with their rifles and only using their AT launchers if the vehicle crew is on "alert"/"danger" mode. Expected behaviour for AI equipped with AT launchers: open fire on armored vehicles with AT no matter if the vehicle crew is turned out or in. Plus - improved target selection within team/group = effective combat against multiple armored targets (no wasting two, three or more missiles on one enemy vehicle). -

Maybe BIS just have to make an awesome A3 trailer that shows the big and combined battles including the need for great teamwork + teamplay through all branches of military sevices? Not just some awkward action flick where the player is portrayed as an SuperStrongSpecialForce-HiTechGeardo. -

@Qazdar its maybe not about your concern but most tyres of military vehicles don't get blown up by a (single) 7.62 or 5.56 round. You need to be clear about issues instead of using "some civilian cars" and "some tires...." -

How many people did play A2+OA default mp missions for how long? How much time passed until the first community made missions were played?? Imo BIS needs to make it more interesting + userfriendly to create/make missions instead of just serving people everything they want on a silver platter..... -

Where is the link between the OFP story + time? Is there really a need to put such stuff in a mod/addon or is just someone going over the top?? Please keep CWR2 clean from ongoing/actual incident.... -
Really - just simple search for M224 +handheld videos! You will see how quick the 60mm mortar can be deployed and fired without the need of maptools, aiming stakes, gps etc. Those man-portable light mortars aren't in the same league like the heavy mortars (which are usually deployed further away from the combat line).... ;)
