    Task Force Arrowhead Radio

    Our community has been utilizing this for our transition over to ArmA3. For the majority it is very very good with a few things we would like to raise; 1) We have members who are hearing impaired and a key to lower all radios volumes, or some hot-keys to change volumes for individual radios, would be a life saver for them as its making it almost unbearable having all the noise through one working ear. 2) There appears to be a slight delay on 3D sound updating when people are talking in local. This is a very minor issue that may have been raised before. Apart from that, great, great work.

    You may feel that my opinion is ridiculous, I do not. You will also find I that I did say it was users choice on mods. However, there are always issues for BIS about what adult/graphic content their community start creating and broadcasting.

    Link to statement from BIS? I'm all for expanding the game anyway possible, as its user choice to include or not include mods, but there are always ethical and emotional issues that come with this kinda work.

Yeah it seems there is a discrepency between the Arma buy page and the BIS Store page; Arma BUY page - http://www.arma3.com/buy equalling £19.99 BIS Store Page - https://store.bistudio.com/ equalling £21.94 I'd follow the Store page for now as that is probably doing a pure conversion based on exchange rate from $.

    J.S.R.S. 1.5

    This has re-ignited my passion for ArmA2 once again. The sheer power that the weapon sounds create really brings that fear back into combat, more so when CQC kicks off with that echo indoors. Game changing mod that will be the first thing I await on ArmA3's release. Top work LordJarhead.

    Excellent mission, the accuracy and skill seemed fair as I was often having suppression rain down on my squad yet noone died :D (Just a few injuries for myself and AI) The music really made the atmosphere and made me sad for the unnarmed people that I had gunned down. Also very good voice acting that was used just enough. I look forward to more!
  9. May I ask what this "Threading building Blocks" activly does? Something to do with improved hyperthreading support, or better Core optimisation on Intels?

    Yo Sickboy, All good here. Shame 6thSense are all but gone now. Anyway I've talked to the lads about rechecking their updates, redownloading userconfig and running the clippi again etc. We'll have a thorough test on Wednesday evening and hopefully all issues should be clear. Cheers -Taylor

    ACE for OA 1.13

    Its nothing to do with crouch running, or the hold breath zoom etc. They are seasoned players that have used over a long period of time. And it was at a walk, weapon down, safety on and their weight was never above 35kgs.

    NVIDIA video card(s) owners read here!

    I had something slightly similar, but nowhere near as noticable, when forcing Vsync on or having it on ingame. Set it to force off or applciation controlled in control panel and off ingame. Also try fiddling with max pre-rendered frames I find 8 actually improves performance slightly and could fix the issue.

    ACE for OA 1.13

    Since the latest hotfix a few of our members have found that they have serious stamina issues such as blacking out whilst walking over distance, with only 20-30kg's of weight. Currently trying to replicate this with other users, however it seems like an error on their end. They are re-downloading @ACE and re-running Aceclippi before we try to replicate the error again before posting it as a bug with RPT's and a mission. A quick question, is stamina etc calculated clientside? As it seems odd that only a select few had issues that seemed impossible to reproduce for others, and that they had the issue with varying loadouts and in various unit slots that others had no problems with. -Cpl Taylor/Shorty :)

    Escape Chernarus (Mission Release)

    Posted on your Armaholic page but echoing it here, bloody excellent mission and 6 of us had to have a few cracks to get it done. We made the end a bit easy by hijacking a BMP-3 and dishing out pain across the map to the extract point. We did play with ACE and ACRE and this may have caused some issues but unsure at this time.     With Operation Linstock recently coming to a dramatic close, the 16AA has completed an intense home rotation and brief in-theatre training in preperation for our current Operation; Operation Chalice I The 16AA was warmly welcomed to the mountains of Clafghan, by a 10 minute flight in 2 Chinooks with Apache support. The beautifull terrain and epic vistas were cut short with the realisation of how remote and hostile the picturesque country really is. PB MIKE, 16AA's home for the coming months, is a tiny Patrol Base near the eerily quiet town of Al Jebel in the deep North Eastern Alkhemora Valley. The Sections stepped off in good spirits, fresh and ready to give the local insurgency hell, unknowningly walking into, what could be, the most hostile enviroment 16AA has faced yet. It slowly dawned on Section IC's, and HQ, the sheer scale of the task before them. What looked like simple patrol routes, were complex mazes of killzones, rolling valleys and deadground on all sides. Foilage was high whilst Cover was sparse and the enemy decided to welcome the Platoon in text book style. Snap Ambush from strong cover and concealment from multiple angles with extremely accurate, and heavy, suppresive fire causing instant casualties for the unlucky Section involved. ehI1ewknssA Above:Footage released from a headcam in A/1/1. Warning contains graphic images. Note that blue-on-blue was called, but in discussion afterward it was deemed that it was not the case. This was just the tip of the iceberg for the 16AA, the rest of the patrol was a baptism of fire that resulted in intense fighting between both sides. The Patrol was visible to, and from, PB MIKE I at all times yet the feeling of being seperated from the world and any safety was palpable. On return to PB MIKE I the members reported a feeling of weight being taken off their shoulders as they walked behind the relative safety of the Hesko Barriers keeping the world away. Clafghan as a whole will be a serious challenge for 16AA yet we will face it with open arms and bayonets fixed.     Arma II/Arma III suggestion

    To be fair this would be good in PvP, TvT etc but against AI I'd feel it would be another advantage for them. Humans would have limited visual ability and be suppressed, where as AI would not lose that visual ability. Hell they can even see through trees half the time.

    ArmA2 / OA (low) performance issues

    If its MP, I may be wrong, but this could be a couple of things. Firstly your connection, wether its to your router and your having packet loss, or high levels of deysnc and high ping. Warping and slidding is caused by problems with your connection or the server your on being overloaded and having low server side FPS. Your speed could be excellent, but it all depends on your ISP's routing to the server your connecting. Along with this dependent on the map, the connection of other players *if its no AI warping* and how full the server is could all be issues.

    Malden is by far the best map in my books. The dealy is both a sad and happy thing to find, I remeber the bugs on each release eating at my very soul at times. Impatience is kicking in but for quality it is worth it.

    Nice mod, just need an anime version/Quinten Trantino version with inhuman amounts of blood spraying for minutes out of each wound Seriously now, nice mod, looking forward to new blood models but these are good for now (without the modding tools etc)

    "Blood Sweat & Tears" Bug

    An amazing mission that comes with the UK version of the game, If you choose to not drive the truck into the town and go into the bedroom you can pick up a sniper rifle. However, if you die and auto load back to that point the weapon is invisible, you can pick it up and fire it but you see no gun in your hands and when you look through the scope you are just zoomed with nothing there, but you can still fire, just cant aim lol. Simple bug and awesome mission so far but DAM veteran mode is hard.

    Sorry didn't think the obvious that people wouldnt take it as a joke They are very good considering the total limitations that Sass faced, sadly 1.5 messed the scopes up a bit due to freeaim, i think there is a way to edit the config so the scope is fixed in the center like sniper weapons etc. Ps. My name aint that bad and cheers Shiz for clearing stuff up
