I was just thinking about the radio thing as i started on hardcore without any radio etc so yeah i'm up for disabling the ADM comms if no radio. Testing 1.78 so far so good! ;)

Me personally, I love it this way. I was in a building out in the open countryside caught in the middle of warring factions and absolutely loved it. Trying to get out of there was a nightmare, but I made it after several attempts. And with ASR_Ai thrown in made it even harder. But I guess it's down to personal choice and as Rydygier pointed out, the settings are there to play it how you want, which makes this so much fun. ;)

Oh well, i'll play without smoke for now until Blastcore is fixed due to current errors! Makes it more of a challenge to find the camps this way! ;)

Rydygier, is there any chance of adding smoke with a script to the fires instead of relying on Blastcore. Blastcore is excellent but i'm trying to keep mods to a minimum or is this something TPW could add i wonder? Because without Blastcore there's no smoke whatsoever which is a bit of a bummer. It's not important just merely a question! ;)

Personally I don't think it would suit this mission type and I think the save's are sufficient in my opinion, unless it spawns you back at the boat so no gain is made. But that's what the load "save" button is for! ;)

Running 1.76 and previously 1.75 but started fresh with 1.76 and everything runs fine my end. Tracks message popped up within 2 mins and a camp spotted within 5 minutes. Strange how yours was like that. :confused: And Rydygier, just when i thought it couldn't get any better you surprise me. Awesome and incredibly addictive! ;) ---------- Post added at 16:15 ---------- Previous post was at 16:10 ---------- I'm running 1.76 with several mods ie: asr_ai3, tpw, tmr and a few others and it runs as smooth as it always has for me. ;)

I've driven round without problems spotting the loot marker but you can also search dead units for even better weapons and ammo. Travelling in vehicles is risky, i have my loot set to 50% and i'm finding loot okay. Towns are the best places to find loot, but dead & surrendering soldiers are even better. Or even military vehicles left unattended. ;)

Love that little feature. Anyway, Rydygier is there any chance of changing the colour above surrendered soldiers so they don't clash with loot icons. It would be nice to have a different colour so you can make the choice of not bothering with a surrendered unit, or quite the opposite. You might want to forget the loot and aqquire the more important surrendered weapons and ammo. Just a thought. ;)

Same for me, can't get it to work either! TAB button isn't doing anything, any ideas? :confused: **UPDATE** Got it working, didn't have my TAB key bound! Doh!!!!!! :rolleyes:

I use @ASR_AI3 which makes it even trickier as they will flank you as well. I try and work my way around if possible looking for rocks or a near building or even a wall to use as cover if possible but you can kill them. Earlier I dropped them with my default weapon with quick successive shots but other times i'll get dropped pretty quickly. I try to get as close as possible but depends on what weapon i have and if i have a scope or not. If you don't have an ideal weapon or scope just avoid them until later on if the terrain makes it difficult to get close, as there's plenty of opportunities to scavenge weapons, ammo and scopes etc etc. And you there's plenty of bodies you can search if you have battles raging around you. Check the map for black crosses and those will be dead soldiers with useful weapons, ammo etc. Hope that helps a little ;) @Rydygier Nah it's no big deal, it's the first time i came across a joint message so i'll ignore it! ;)

Rydygier, i'm playing the latest 1.75 and i got the sense the smell of smoke.. message and a foot trail message come up at the same time, was a little distracting. Any way of preventing two messages coming up at the same time? LG ;)

LOL! Know the feeling, been playing it since i finished work this morning only stopping for dinner & tea. Just got off 20 minutes ago, surrounded by 4 tanks.......:eek: Rydygier, with regards to the NVG's i never had any trouble finding any. Got a pair now, takes a while to find a pair but i've always found a pair during a game restart although they seem pretty rare. ;)

Rydygier, I have a problem, I can't stop playing this bl**dy mission. It's so addictive! Sod the brother, just getting your guy kitted up with everything and surviving is fun enough! The more I play it the more I see what an excellent mission this is mate. Top notch! I hope you have more missions in the pipeline! :D ;)
