Tony, This looks GREAT ! Would it be possible to release a video from above the battlefield to watch the movement of all the soldiers? Your videos are good but an idea of the fire and maneuver from above would be sweet. Can't wait to get my hands on it ! (Although it will have to be ACE compatible - CANT ... LIVE .... WITHOUT ..... My bad ! Your addon is not at fault ionos .... its S_Holes NVG and GDTHDR addon that cause the incompatibility with InstantViewDistance. Can't live without IVD .... superb stuff for pilots ! Sorry for the false alarm. [TAO] Kremator

I'm having problems getting my AI to attack when I am in their vehicle. Is there anyway for ACE to solve this (apart from me having t constantly give 'attack that man' orders) ? [TAO] Kremator -
Very good news Doomguy. Your warfare version is the only one I host on my dedi server (with ACE 1.01 of course ! Keep up the good work. One final thing - Benny added extra features to his warfare like Satellite camera and units camera (both VERY useful indeed). Would it also be possible to add extra goodies like these ? BRILLIANT mod! Seriously. I do have one question however ... Is it just me (and my installation) or are vehicles that I am in, NOT attacking the enemy automatically? For instance I can enter a T90 or a BRDM and the AI in my team will NOT engage. In the T90 I have to manually assign targets to the AI. Is this a 'feature'? [TAO] Kremator -

Well I think that ACE and GL3 are running well together. My commandline is -mod=DBE1;@Addons;@ACE;@GL3;@EEHConfig The only thing that I did wrong was i stripped EEHConfig out of GL3 and forgot to put everything into an Addons folder ! So now I get all of ACE functionality (yes I know there are now 2 event handlers) and GL3 functionality (voices/markers). What I havent been able to check is IF GL3 is calling reinforcements in an ACE mission so far with this setup. Will do more testing. Great addon, however, if people are going to be using it with ACE mod then the commandline MUST be -mod@GL3;@ACE I think there is an incompatibility somewhere if you reverse the commandline order (like not being able to enter vehicles etc) What I am about to check is whether there are other problems with the AI even when putting the commandline in the correct order. Keep up this great work SNKMAN !! [TAO] Kremator

OK Mandoble, I have now done more testing. I have found that, when using ACE mod, sometimes the HUD for AA disappears. You can still hear the lock on growl but nothing appears in the HUD. Also, occassionally the GBU camera loses the lock on the ground units (I'm flying level - not too fast or slow at a reasonable height). I reckon it is about once every 20 or so GBU drops. Lock disables and camera drifts across the ground - I cannot confirm if the GBU still hits the correct location however. I am really enjoying this beta - it does feel right for bombing (speed of movement of camera, zoom speed, lock symbol etc) and AA engagements (lock symbols, sounds, flares/chaff deployment) Looking forward to full version. [TAO] Kremator PS will there be updates on the SAM control in the final version ?

Dear ACE mod devs, THANK YOU! This mod is a keeper and will remain on my server for a LONG time (until final version replaces the beta that is ! It has transformed how I, and others, play ARMA - and its ALL for the good. Gone are the gung-ho days of Rambo style attacks. Sure they can still be done, but not without taking the time to plan, and have serious firepower behind you. The missions that are being released with ACE as the focal point are amazing. I know that people want to share their experiences, and some may not be able to couch their criticisms too well but from a long-time ARMA player, can I thankyou from the bottom of my M14 ! Loving it Mandoble ! Can't wait. Tell me, are the AI able to use all these fancy tools as well ? Really glad to see the beta put into ACE MOD ! Are the other great tools, like SAM command sorted in the final? [TAO] Kremator

Pixel, This is a great mission. Would it be possible to script in Norrin's revive scripts as I think this would make the mission even more amazing !!! What is needed is that when a unit dies they remain there until revived by other members and/OR their AI. By the way I'm using ACE MOD with your stuff and it brings it ALIVE! Perhaps a special ACE version ? Really enjoying it so far. Keep up the good work mate! [TAO] Kremator

Dear ACE modders, You have breathed new life into old Arma! Â I am enjoying it immensely. Â Every day there is something new for me to discover. Yes, it has changed my playing style - AND SO IT SHOULD ! Please do not listen to these moaners about the stamina system. Â It is perfect the way it is. Â I totally agree with Mr Burns. Â Since learning how to run/what to carry - I have NOT blacked out once. My only slight annoyance is the reduced vision on being shot/wounded. Â I think it lasts a little too long. PLEASE keep up this good work. Â I will never host a server now WITHOUT using ACE mod! Â ACE-Islands are brilliant too. I have been a long time OFP and Arma supporter - in fact I was one of the FIRST people to play OFP in London pre-release on a LAN - ahh great times. Â My point is that the excitement I felt THEN is the same as I feel now with ACE mod ! [TAO] Kremator -

Got a new machine in preparation for Arma2 !! However I now have the vista bug! Problem with fail to load with Vista64 and 6GB RAM. If I use msconfig down to 3GB it works fine. Machine spec Core i7 2.66GHz 6GB DDR3 RAM ATI Radeon 4870 I thought this beta was meant to fix it .... or am i doing something very wrong ! [TAO] Kremator
