  1. Thank you kindly, it is great to hear that! For us Linux users it's a nightmare still to try and get anything similar to BEC x.x so it'll be nice to finally have something even if it's in the future. I'll get this install either way so it's preped and ready to go!
  2. Hey there! Does this have the possibility in the future to work as an auto restarter? Since BEC is no more, and never worked for us linux lovers anyway, finding a way to auto restart and do it in a professional was is harder than ever. Is this something you might consider?

    B.E.C Alternative for Linux

As nice as that sounds I have zero ability to do coding, it's either a pre made one or non at all I am afraid.
  4. Hello all! I did a derp and have for the last two days been trying to get BEC working on my CentOS 7 dedicated box, only to finally read and learn that it never supported linux in the first place x.x What would be a good ingame alternative to BEC? I know there's two listed here but they are for outside of the game and not an ingame admin tool.
  5. Gamespy has been flat out removed from all of the Arma series games as far as I am aware and have been manually changed over to Steam. That's about it really, we can't put servers up as they register to GS on your tool, just needs moved over. (However BI hasn't exactly updated their wiki to help with this..)
  6. Manufacturer Custom made. The same problem was around on Arma 2, I was unable to play it on anything but low. And even then, FPS issues were still there. BIOS and GPU drivers are all up to date, all other software is up to date as of date and hardware firmware. The only thing that comes to mind is that my Motherboard is pretty much a toasted cookie, it's unable to deal with the CPU, amount of RAM and my GPU and it's choking itself trying to sort out that kind of power. But I am hoping others might have some suggestions and/or tips to help me here. I am looking in to a new Motherboard shortly, as well as a upgrade for my CPU. So anything but them.

    CentOS glib needed.

I needed to install the normal GCC first before I could install this one, because I didn't have a C compiler :'D Silly noobie I am, it's working now, just gotta find where some folders are first.

    CentOS glib needed.

I should maybe state that in terms of using Linux I am on the level of basic to 'has no idea'. So that kinda went over my head ^-^

    CentOS glib needed.

Had a look there. Got that working, but cannot ./configure it due to needing a C compiler. Did some looking around, says I need the GCC to be the C compiler. So not sure what's going on there. Silly me pressing things early, EDIT: I have the GCC, so I'm not sure what it's going on about there.
  10. I did a lot of scouting around, however I can't find the information I am looking for so I'm hoping you kind people here can help me out. I have a CentOS 6.3 system, Duo duel core 3.4GHZ with 16GB ram and plenty of space on it's 1TB HDD. But I need to find this. ./server: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./server) And I cannot. BinMake assistance,

Ah ha, why didn't I think of that, I've been around Linux enough derp. Idk why I don't use BinPBO, I think I'm just a little strange. (Sorry for the reallly late reply, had a few issues in real life)
  12. Hello there. I have a issue that I could do with some information on, trying to use the binmake tool (and other community made versions) however whenever I start the program typing anything will close it on instant. I was under the impression I did the work within the cmd prompt window it gave me, but it seems to be not. Any pointers? Or have I actually gotten a bugged version.
