  1. I am able to pay for extra features not promised for the basic game. Not for fixes. Never. It would be a dangerous precedence for the game industry. Imagine dev studios deliberately releasing bugged games with a lot of potential to cash-in for patches. Absolutely not. EDIT: I would consider a major, ground-breaking re-working of AI to be a feature, so I would pay for AI update if it was really worth it.
  2. Will it be possible to save offline mods/addons setting (mods not downloaded through workshop) with the presets in the vanilla launcher? Right now, it seems you can only save presets for workshop mods and addons.

    Considering how dumbed down have been fatigue system lately, I wouldn't even bother with any stamina management. In fact, I thought the server I have been playing on had the fatigue disabled. Only then I realized that it is how it is supposed to work now in vanilla... Also, why is it so important to have a separated button for temporary raising/lowering a weapon? I thought the left click to ready the weapon, double Ctrl lower it to is good enough...

I already try it with my signature so if you are a part of an MP community, you can spread it there even more. Fab definitely deserves this. Medic can be very valuable in a field so they should have some basic self-preservation behaviour.     This is, I believe, a separated problem that even has not much effect on the AI skill in combat situations. But I agree it should be fixed.

    I have noticed that AI has sometimes lot of problems to even start shooting at a known target. As if their targeting priorities were messed up or something. Tested with 4 machinegunners in offroad.

    To me, the limits are really problematic. It is not normal to see enemy machinegunners in a back of an offroad to not be able to shoot me just because I am prone and they are unable to aim more to the ground. They just stare at me, aim at me and wait until I get within their aiming limits. Funny and frustrating at the same time.

  19. Are you aware of a fact that the effect should be very subtle? SSAO is not a wow-effect type of thing. It is more like a finishing touch to the overly great picture that makes things looking more photo-realistic if used right. I consider SSAO to be superior to now used, too explicit HDAO/HBAO.
  20. Thank you for the explanation. The crouch thing sounds very logical. About the prone thing: I consider 50 meters to be a really short distance to go prone, really. It is a distance around which combat is still really fast and aggressive. Going prone is slow and therefore hindering unit's performance, in my opinion. 50 meters is a distance where it is very unlikely to miss a prone target with full auto fire. Fast reflexes are needed for such a distance, in my opinion.

    OK, guys. Just don't only criticize, please, as DEVs are evidently working hard and need to see our support in order to stay healthy and motivated. That being said, I agree that lot of features has more potential than has been realized.

  23. Also, Fab, units should not be running crouched when ordered to move a significant distance. It is painfully slow and also fatiguing. Right now they only seldom stand up when moving in combat. EDIT: But I am not sure if it is problem cause exclusively by bCombat or something else is happening too.
