Poolpunks Object Packs - Work in Progress Thread
poolpunk replied to poolpunk's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
@tobinator - Yes, there will be working versions of the lights included. Thanks! @khaosmatical - There is not a single Urban Pack ( like planned before ), but several Urban Packs. The only one published until now, is "PLP Urban Packs: Barriers and Fences". "PLP Urban Packs: Private Property" and "PLP Urban Packs: Public Space" will follow by the end of this year/january 2017. The Garage stuff is part of "Private Property".. -
Love this subtle thingy! More of this stuff. :)

Great work, Heros! Really like how this develops. If you need sth. graphically-wise, let me know.

Still trying to find out how to configure the markers for use in Eden Editor - Hope to have an updated version uploaded soon.
-
@lumnuon - Yes, will definitely try to add a useable version of the boom gate with the next update. Finally found documentation for the Land-Class. Jeez, that took ages. @daniel_yates, kwinno - The Barriers are in "Thing -City" and "Fences-City" - Categories. There are always two versions for the barriers (Static-Class for Island Builders and Thing-Class for Mission-Use, which has physics). Fences are always configured as static Fences. Think i will return to the old Sorting System and create Eden-Editor Categories for my packs with the next updates.

@Itsthomas - Thanks a lot! Id really polish them if they were part of official content. ;D But they do what theyre supposed to do. @luckylegs - Thanks Pal! Me too. Me too. I wanted to go for the basic stuff first. Hope i dont get tired on the long run.
-
Hey khaosmatical, i decided to release all the stuff in smaller chunks, as it is getting more and more complex to manage all that stuff. So the Garage Items are arriving with the next pack, which will be the'Private-Property-Props'. Should not take too long.

Hey DJ - Furniture will be incoming for PLP Interiors. This package had grown too much, so i "outsourced" the Garage Stuff to Urban Pack. -

Hey Megademik. I dont know of any possibility to synchronize "Firesounds", cause thats what it is, essentially. Someone might be able to script a MP-friendly Radio though.

[WIP] Terrain "X-Cam-Taunus"
poolpunk replied to silola's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Unbelievable .. This looks amazingly good. I love the Castle and the sparse Woodland with the clearing (Pic 6). Very balanced and interesting object placement. -
@tobinator - Yes. :)
-
@Electricleash - Yeees. Theyre not categorized, but hopefully will be with next update. You can find all of them under "not-that-obvious" categories in Eden Editor however.

Poolpunks' Wishlist and Object Collection
poolpunk posted a topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Hi all! Is there a specific object you always wanted to see in ArmA to pimp up your Missions and Terrains? That adds immersion and contributes to the gameplay experience? This is the place to place your Wishes/Suggestions. Or even BETTER - You can contribute an object or a few objects that are either not finished or not worth being released on their own? I can include them in one of my upcoming packs (with credits for sure!). What i will (probably) have to do is to modify them, so they fit to the others (Color, Config etc.) - not before i made you a proposal, for sure. Note: This is NOT about Vehicles, Uniforms, Weapons, Buildings or entire Terrains - For this youll have to bug other members of the community. Furthermore, im not talking about objects with an extended functionality (For example - Like the Kestrell Windtrackers or similar) - The objects i want to collect are purely decorative elements that can "fill" up the mission area. WIP Thread http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?182997-Poolpunks-Object-Packs-Work-in-Progress-Thread Released Packs: PLP Beach Objects ---------- Post added at 13:28 ---------- Previous post was at 13:27 ---------- Ill attach a summary of the objects i have on my list until now later on. -
Poolpunks' Wishlist and Object Collection
poolpunk replied to poolpunk's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I do have a semi-working, donated version on my hdd, but wont get it finished if there isnt so. with sufficient scripting knowledge helping me out *wink* It drives, but the fork-controls do not work until now. Thought about that already, too. Maybe at a later point this would be definetely a nice-to-have. There is in fact several really great airport objects in the official Helicopter DLC however. Noted for a potential "PLP Military"-Pack. ;) As im not doing objects with extended usability at the moment, this seems to be a bit out of scope. On the other hand ... It should not be that complicated to config a trailer "vehicle" without driver/cargo seats - Will keep it at the back of my mind. -
Updated to v1.21 - Fix for previous version - Fixed: "Vertex shader ID out of limits" Download URL (v1.21) http://www71.zippyshare.com/v/PqKMZibI/file.html

Ok - Will have a new version up on Friday.
-
@Auss - i hoped i eliminated what i saw by re-packing the MLODs - Does the issue you mention still exist with the new Version? @Miller, Foxhound - Thanks for your Support. Really. Updating PLP Containers and PLP Beach Objects in Steam Workshop still doesnt work for me btw - The entries are somehow corrupted. @Karel - Totally missed that until now. Thanks! Did not dive into Eden Editor that much, cause i wanted to take myself some time.
