If you have any options to 'optimize' vertices, uvs, etc, in an exporter or importer, always choose no. -

Also the soldiers in A2 are extremely large. They are well over average height and build. -
An indication that there is a difference between walking and running is no concession at all toward realism, so let's not fool ourselves into thinking that you are interested in realism in this regard in the slightest :)

It really bugs me when game development seems to lose its ability to think critically about design over time. In the Assassin's Creed 2 series, Ezio's gadgets, fighting ability, and climbing ability go more and more ridiculous until I found it to be actually quite stupid. It went from fun to lame. you have this character and this world with defined limitations, and I guess player's find limitations inconvenient so they streamline them until the character is fairly well unlimited. I have a clan of assassins I can call out to help me out but I never use them because I can basically kill a crowd of hundreds in hand to hand no problem. It seems like the same thing here. Fischer running along the sides of buildings like an insect and then using a drone as big as a volkswagen to fly around silently while slow mo killing 5 people in a chain with no draw back is just super poor imo.

I also find that quite hillarious and fun. LOL. Why are you asking us? There's a whole subforum dedicated to asking questions about A3. About the behaviour of the a2 AI in general and the bounding overwatch behaviour, I think it's quite irritating when the AI seem to take their sweet time only to be shot down in the attempt... but fix which behaviour? The one where they die trying to rescue you like lemmings or the one where they're too cautious and try to suppress the enemy and take care of each other before attempting it? It seems like these two things are like one thing here <=== here we are now ===> the other thing over here The AI don't run around and act like heros which I can appreciate. There's a video going around the forums of a soldier getting shot a few times while running down a hill but allegedly his armour saved him and he didn't actually get injured. He's calling for help for quite a while but no one was very keen to abandon all sense of fieldcraft and run down the same enfilade into machine gun fire to die beside him. Real rescue services like fire and ambulance are now being trained to take care of themselves before helping their victims so they don't become victims themselves. It's a strange situation to be in in a game where I think the AI are being smart by trying to sort their own shit out before rescuing me but languishing isn't always very fun. It can be, but it can also be very frustrating. Maybe if the AI acknowledged your 'wounded' message with, 'I'll get to you when I can / I'm busy / come to me if you can / etc.'- 1308 replies

I don't think so. There's a certain size limit for movable objects in the game. I believe you must do that for the first few posts, then it stops. -

ACRE requires teamspeak 3. That, on its own, complicates things quite a bit when you're musing aloud, 'why don't they just take the community mods and make them game parts?' Also, buying mods from the community is messy business in itself and if I was a businessman I would avoid that like the plague as a general practice. Lastly, BI is probably not going for a 'radio simulator'. This is the same reason the helicopters aren't like Blackshark. -
Nope, I mean the game doesn't load them anymore as of they aren't there. The ones you have, CBA and Smookie's animation mod can't be very large, so I was reasoning that you wanted to not play with them anymore when you said 'uninstall' initially.

I've never seen a glider addon... I've never seen a person that turns into an aircraft that turns into a parachute... It is probably not impossible but it would take some out of the box thinking. I doubt you would be able to do much animating for it. I don't want to say anything is impossible, even for a beginner, but if you want to pursue it, I hope you like to do a lot of research reading code and then apply obscure solutions to strange problems... and also model flying suits. -
Well, okay, but disabling them has the same effect on the game itself as getting rid of them completely. If you are using windows vista or windows 7 you can simply search for folders or files you know are in cba or stmovement. a folder called addons, for instance, will be in both.

Angle values are not required in a translation animation, neither is phase. What you're looking for is offset0 and offset1. axis is not required if you're using translationz because translationz automatically uses the z axis. I would suggest just using translation. -
