There’s no solo mode what your seeing is the option to earn extra battle pass exp by increasing the odds you’ll face teams in your encounters and even then you’ll only get the exp bonus if there’s at least one team in game. I’d like them to bring back random duos or even trios would be nice. I think the crux of the of the issue is a falling number of players, even with cross platforming from Xbox, switch AND pc it still takes 2-4 minutes at any time of any day I try to play to actually get a game going assuming I don’t hard crash. This is why I think they can’t separate any playlists here.

Sucks to hear but the lesson is to take your time I guess and not rush, go slow in future and be sure you know what your putting in. For the record you don’t have to zero the total to pick what you drop in, if your on console using the menu button selects values of 1-10-100-1000 food with that you can use the directional pad to move up and down saves a lot of work. Again just live and learn bud sorry to hear you lost your good but your a generous outlander!! 😛

Bad idea in my view on a number of accounts 1- this would require significant development of an entirely new mechanic which won’t really earn the devs any money ergo not worth implementing. 2- if your wanting better crates there’s already the crate boosts in lobbies not to mention this also affecting the hidden box of valuables that’s effectively a second airdrop in every game. 3- shootout mode gives gold crates which have a very high value loot pool to draw upon including high level crates and you can get up to 3 shootout crates per match. I just don’t see the value in merging crates much as I value the thought put into the innovation. Sound too much like an old thread of mine asking for a material exchange shop which the devs responded to with a blank no. 🙁

I for one could rock gold guns every match for the rest of my days but I choose to willingly go into encounters with crappy commons for fun. 1: screw over anyone who manages to kill you but not having loot to gain or any good guns 2: if I do manage to kill someone or hit the points of interest that’s free good guns to take 😛 3: it’s just more fun and a good challenge to take on sweats with junk weapons, especially when you win!!

Teaming in solo will ruin this game. period.

It’s usually an unspoken teamwork, emote, run together and generally just naturally work together. Like my story with the locked container, me and his guy both unarmed both got guns from the container then we go shot at coming out of the container me and the guy silently worked together to take on the third (i died but still fun) -

I mean I think that’s why the timed safe and locked containers exist for the guaranteed weapon drops, granted not quite new player friendly there are other ways to get the good guns so you can get them every round. -

I support organic teaming. It’s worked for me before when I worked with a guy who like me one encounter we’re both unarmed worked together to secure a locked container and used the weapons within tonight off a third guy who bricked himself when he saw the the two of us going against him. Also had a game where I bypassed barred house on batterie and emoted to a guy coming up towards it, he aimed but then didn’t shoot realising I’d indicated I had no interest in the loot there so he went about his way and I went mine to a dig stash I discovered the picture for where he came from 🙂 good stuff too rare to see usually -
Logically mortars wouldn’t kill someone indoors right away since it’s shelter but I would like to see a mechanic where Windows could be blasted open same with doors, like apex legends with the door kicking and explosive animations. Could lead to an outlander breaching into a building with sound cover. Thoughts? 🤔

I’m the same with mortars and booby traps, I’d pay crowns for a catch-up blueprint or two just to get back up to speed as I stopped playing for a bit then came back at a disadvantage, frankly I’ve seen nobody using booby trap and you can’t even loot it in encounters even

SO true, I for one never finished upgrading my shelter and am now struggling to finish it because of a lack of drop rates for certain materials even in boosted games. I do like the shootout mode as it can give some decent crates for top 3 but it gets stale fast and makes me very angry indeed. Still getting bushwhacked by people I’m encounters who don’t bother with or need loot and just play to kill, you know it’s a sweaty game when you manage to kill a guy and find he’s packing about 10 portable detectors 200 rounds of ammo and enough bombs to blow the safe and it’s contents into a crater. Not all games go this way but the good ones are few and far between.

I know it’s an older thread but just wanted to share a cool story in which I bumped into an unarmed player and after some poor pot shots from my gold hand gun he gestured to me the traditional hey! Being the good guy I am I stopped firing and let him have timed safe, after I got the exp of course 😉 got sniped outside mind but still it was nice! -
That’s new to me I’ve not seen anything like that, I wouldn’t say boycott the game that won’t fix the issue, you can mitigate the issue of cheaters by playing smarter and not always getting into fights, sure you may have to forfeit the odd point of interest but don’t feel the need to charge in. Can get frustrating at times but I’ve learned where the loot is on certain maps and I utilise them while avoiding hot zones and always manage to get out unscathed cheating or no. 🙂 let me know if you want some pointers I’ll happily go through it with you!

Lmgs you say? Those are not all that accurate even prone, their suppression weapons. Want accuracy use rifles or assault rifles with single or burst firing modes you’ll have more luck.

So armor only protects your torso area and only from a a few rounds or even only a single bullet. All depends on the Calibre of rounds used and Range from target. Sadly it’s only good for a few shots tops then it’s gone, don’t expect power armour with this it buys time and limits the likelihood of a one shot bushwhacking from campers or anyone who gets the drop on you 🙂 -
I don’t see the need to have lots of ammo for a good gun in a point of interest however i do agree more resources over ammo even on basic unboosted games are better. I would expect some food in the locked container too with it being an airdrop style package. Timed safe is fine as is being weapon based, barred house should be maybe one weapon only depending on boost level and just be mainly resources and consumables.

Hi do not sure if this has been raised or not but I recently upgraded my water distillation shelter upgrade to level 12 at long last and noticed no crafting time upgrade despite it being a sizeable 10% what’s the deal with that? Any help?

So finally back to playing vigor and while some updates have Impressed me others have not. I recall ranking 2nd in the shootout mode today and getting two shootout crates and about 400xp. While I’m aware there’s still possibly an issue with gaining food from this mode I’m troubled by the lack of criteria given for what can give you the crates. Is it Rng and anyone can potentially earn one or more? If so what rankings are the prize givers if any. No info to be found anywhere on what exact prizes I win per match unlike finishing an encounter. Thoughts?

I have to admit the devs are right here I’ve seen people rocking m16s picking off even skilled players, sure high level gear helps but even us veterans get bushwhacked by sweaty players too. Play smart outlanders also bear in mind we just recently got two new things to gun for like the locked container and timed safe, along with barred house, comms, jammer and signal, it’s gonna split the usual pile up of players into different areas. I remember on some maps EVERYONE gunned got barred house, but now there’s a second safe and a container to try for meaning you won’t get nightmarish 6 player scrums anymore which I like! 🙂 -

I don’t see any issue with this personally it’s the calculated risk we take in the encounter, knowing when is safe to heal when yo instead take a chance on not healing or running away a bit first. I sort of see your point but again not an essential suggestion in my view -
Odds are he was super stealthy and got last yoy after dumping the box this is a common move

Yup sounds about right and frankly I used to do the same before I stopped playing Im in the camp of try my luck getting the crate and if I come under fire I’ll typically hide and dump the crate xD scummy yes but effective

You’ve said it now 😂 -pictures devs altering in game code- I love batterie draug before the nerf to map selection I only ever played that map to get the shelter upgrades I needed but now I don’t play much at all!

But it was okay to sell weapon blueprints back in the day 😂 still remember when the Hbar was up on sale for like 800 crowns or something. Anyone else remember that?
