I just want to make sure is it normal with VCOM artillery pieces creating laser targets on opponent side. If so I can find workaround with it in making my scenario with that knowledge. Thanks -

I'm not sure if that's the case here. What I can definitely sure is I'm indeed suffering blu-on-blu from AI' paveway attack becuz of this laser target created by Taliban mortar(epic isn't ๐) I tasted with VcomArti on and off. Note that these happened in EdenEditor scenario preview runs. -

Is it normal with VCOM Artillery to creates laser targets over opponent side? Now my blufor AI pilots are releasing paveways right over friendly IFV because opposite side has a Podnos morter team by their side. It is definitely scenario breaking ๐ฃ I can fix it by disabling vcom artillery. I wanted to know is it normal right? -

I can't get rid of all two DARGs, only one of them is shown in the attribute. I just want to change them with unguided rockets but couldn't do it because of this. Can you help me basotay? -

My favorite recon helicopter ever for sure!!! I'm so glad seeing it still servicing for the armed forces! Wish it never retire ๐ Just love the shape and structure of it! The externalities. How it shaped and formed. And with the addition of that mast mounted sight on it's head, the craft is a pure artwork! When it equip with hellfires, it become extremely beautiful. Such a art. I really have a soft spot in my heart for this helicopter, especially the OH-58D, starting from long long time ago, tbh way back it servicing with US in gulf war(though i born just after it finished, the photos are still everywhere when i ~3). I can stare it image all days long. Congratulation for the Greece for getting the dome-headed helicopter! -

Why haven't using your optics and scope onto the units in your mod, for example SOC guys? You already have added good quality optics with later update. Love the upgraded humvee too! I only wish there's a Carl Gustaf in it. I think they use M2 version over there. Btw did you just removed the Minimi? I think you have it in the mod months ago. -
I'm interested in how you guys are really talking about JAM. Like this JAM thing might be so good. What is it exactly? To be honest I'm very new to this community. I started to play Arma only with Arma 3. Can you link me at least where it's information exist? Thanks guys. I regret i started this thread: ( It's like starting fire, sorry. I never know that this kinda idea have ever been implanted or tried. That's why i asked. I think it would be an new idea or maybe useful, didn't know it had tried(i once stated that on i think CUP thread too if I'm remember correct). Really sorry. Anyway can you link me to info on JAM? Maybe some knowledge about old arma time for me which i never have to known.

Not that much of ACE3 fan either myself. Just pointing out that if a player/server/mission maker really want/need to utilize let's say both RHS and CUP within scenario, then ACE3+it's compats for the mods become the needies. Like i said it at least fulfilled the optimization of small arms/most of the ballistic among the top mods. Oh, of cuz! With the last couple of update, the whole new ACE medical system become bit more frustrating, at least for me. But i heard most milsim folks love it

I should pufu, i should ๐ Just couldn't resist to start this thread. I couldn't agree more about the fact that the vanilla being such a mess. That's the single main* reason of why i have to ended up starting post like this in the first place. If BI indeed did developed their weapons and equipments parallel with reallife stats, we might really be having what I have been proposing, universal standard which most* peoples/modders would relied on/agreed upon(with acceptance. Cuz who else doesn't want realistic vanilla right?). But sadly, it seem like BI kinda out of touch with reality with their last installation ๐ Oh about the poll thing i stated, that was a joke. And if we really have to, I'd vote for realism any day, not the vanilla.

Tbh that was what i really wanted to mean when i writing that post:) That's why sometime i wish I'm better at English:) So anyway, there must only one single truth to any existence/thing you can imagine. Only difference is how each and every individual translate it into their respective brain. So as of my knowledge, perception is not always reality. It is a trait of individualism. Btw, realism is universal, so it's not good that each people perceive it differently. Just a thought ๐ There are informations online everywhere, so if not an easy task, the standardization of what we currently have in top Arma mods (don't need having millions variants of ammos) is indeed possible. What im saying is not modders to put everything that other mods have(no pushing anything), I'm saying standardization of duplicated contents among top mods(like CUP' bmp-2 and RHS' bmp-2 having same stats) And yes, I've to agree that magwells done a really good job some parts of my wish. Truth be told, it's mostly vehicles that still is the difficulty. Like you said, if a server or a player know how to utilize what compatiblity mod and ACE and such, we can already standardized popular small arms (i.e m4, AK, rpg) from top mods. Also if a mission maker really invested, he too can make a scenario in which soliders/players wearing body armors and vests that are go along in the stats. The vehicles....... To be honest though, i already aware of everything you just said. My last paragraph will do the telling ๐ As a player with zero modding or scripting knowledge, the only thing i can do is whining about stuffs that still ain't there lol Just kidding. I don't dare pushing these modders in any means man! They're the one that's making Arma possible. Only appreciations and much much thanks to all of them...

When i googled it, i says >70 to be deem old man ๐ด But isn't 70 seem too old to be old man the ex-legion? The think old man had already passed his 50' during the Tanoa crisis. So maybe around 60? Not sure. I should go mail BI customer support about this one ๐

Is it possible to make another pilot survival vest with green or sage colour(same/similar colour as your pilot jumpsuit)? To be honest, i don't know the exact type of PSV in the mod, but I've seen more sage and green colored ones in real-life(US's especially) than a grey. Also it'll add more variety to the mod anyway if you decide to add the sage color one alongside already existing grey one. I know I'had already asked for many things here hehehe So plz take this only as an idea, thanks ๐ -
Yeah, definitely inspired by Tanoa environment. And there's a signature on it. Would be great if we can find the artist behind the image, that way maybe we can find out more. I really want a full screen HD of this particular image, wanna applied to my windows 10 wallpaper. Wonder BI has the artist in their dev team, or they got it from somewhere else. Thanks bro. For me, i already tried weeks, couldn't find anything outside old man's laptop. Maybe he got it from the rebels lol

So i think if you guys could use this kinda shortcut route with this already existing FA-18X, put enough investment into it, we will get the all new super horny block iii Just a suggestion:) Just come across this article and come into mind would be cool to have in arma. Thank you pinaz for making that decision! Now it's in active hands, with talents to maintain! He made the aircraft already good! Only one thing though, which is what I've been asking for pinaz fix. Now it's for you Firewill ๐ - can you please let me slap the fuel tanks in the right pylon position on the Typhoon(second pylon counting from the fuselage)? They're at the wrong pylons at the moment(first pylon from the fuselage). Usually that's where big ground attack munitions like storm shadow are suppose to attach. With the correct pylon placements +storm shadow +weapons from your FirWeaponSys i.e IRIS-T, ASRAMM and Meteor, the Typhoon will be complete! ๐ Thank you very much for the aircrafts! -
That's call ambush, which is mostly utilize in guerrilla warfare XD Anyway, I'd suggest you to try bringing up your game resolution, maybe you'll see what AIs(and other players) can see/are seeing.

Hello guys. What do i need to do to be able to play the SP main campaign(the Altis one, not the apex) with overhauled CSAT equipments from this mod? Is there any pbo. to be put into the specific folder and etc? Also, does it also replaced the vehicles too, or only the infantry assets (tbh infantry replacement is enough for me. Cuz that's mostly where BI make CSAT alien-like)? And also, most importantly, will it replaced the vanilla CSAT forever? Like i mean, can i be able to revert the CSATs after playing the campaign right? In other words, does it have to replace the main game files(pbo?) in the Addons folder, or will i be able to ok with just install the mod and play the campaign with the mod' assets? Thank you very much. -

Community Upgrade Project - CUP Maps 2.0

I think they had intended the environment of the map to be in crops cutting season. I don't know? I just imagine being in crop cutting season(famers cut crops and pile them somewhere, and tied with a rope to carry and go to sell it in the market. They do it seasonally i think. I think there are three seasons for farming: good time, bad time, and selling time. I think the map is suppose to be around selling time) But yes, i agree, the environment with grown yellow crops is very beautiful indeed, for example Lavonia(i think it is wheat). Also despite the big field lacking of any crops in CUP map 2.0, there are some places where the yellow crops poop out of nowhere from the ground, sometime on green highmap region. And that's strange. but im happy that team like CUP is working on the project! It'll better with time.
