So i may have found a work aroundfor this issue. Ive managed to get it working for about two hours now without freezing. 1. Im running on the profiling branch version. 2. Running every paramter excetp file patching as our sever doesn't support it. 3. Jemalloc memory allocater. 4. With the various parameters like number of cpu cores for example i specified exact numbers. I also at one point deleted the arma3.exe and arma3 64 bit exe and re verified local files.

K so since the release of 1.68 ive been getting the same dxig error. Ive tried absolutely everything to fix it on my end. Only thing that work was downloading the dev version which at the time was 1.69 . something. I was at least able to play the game a little. Now version 1.71.something and im getting the same error as 1.68. Im part of the group with amd gear being effect by this bug. Can any devs try to help me?

I can tell you at this point there is an issue within the game itself pertaining to amd cpu. I have amd and have been having freezing issues since the release of 1.68 version. Only fix i found so far is do download the development version but it will not work with current saved files. But the fact the dev version is not freezing on me leads me to believe that their is a fix coming soon

I have the exact same problem as well. Ive tried everything under the sun to fix it but still the issue persist. Tech support still refuses to admit the problem is with the game itself.

Did anyone ever come up with a fix for this issue been having same issue since 1.68 update and have tried everything to fix it?

You might want to try different memory allocaters as well as some people i play with found that increasing your page file size worked

Theres really nothing you can do. Ive been playing for two years without any issues then as soon as this update i have the same issue. Ive literally tried everything short of trying to run window 10 with no change.

I have a Radeon and i was screwing around with things because i have been have a game freezing issue since the 64 bit was released but i had that problem after doing a driver wipe. I discovered that my computer was not detecting my graphics card. Make sure and check the device manager and see if it is detecting your card

Same here ive literally tried everything to fix it on my end with now luck

K so ive tried a wipe and clean install of steam and arma, ive tried wipe and clean insall of windows, ive tried updating and rolling back of drivers, ive tried completely wiping all reinstall of all drivers and overclocking software(which i don't overclock anyways). This issue only started after the 64bit update.

Does it with both 64bit and 32bit

I have personally tried anything and everything people have come up with to try and deal with this same issue and nothing has worked.

Ever since the update to 64bit my game freezes within 15mins. Cant crash it have to restart computer to clear it. I have tried everything to get it working with no luck.
