I recently read a wiki entry related to GAME 2 that BI was actually working on a Wild West game around 1999-2000 that was eventually switched to modern day. What ever happened to the old wild west concept?

Recently read a wiki entry that mentioned an old game that BI tried to develop that took place in the old west. Did anything ever come of that? Is there an Arma Mod that deals with the Old West say 1865-1905? I love some of the old west RPG games such as Boot Hill and Sidewinder or Aces and Eights and Red Dead redemption was a classic. An Altis Life taking place in the old west seems ideal.

No matter what system BI implements, people will eventually find a way to game it.
