WANTED: ACE3 mission template

Okay, so that error means you have a problem with the ACE 3 compat files. Are you playing with RHS? If you aren't, you will need to delete all ace_compat_rhs files from your Arma 3\@ACE\Addons folder (or any in a rhs-ace compatibilty mod you may have downloaded). If you are using workshop, unsubscribe from anything that is an ace-rhs compatibility mod. If you are, then you need to check what version of RHS you have (Should be 4.2.2) and What version of ACE you have (Should be 3.9.1). Once you're sure both are up to date, then go into @ACE\Optionals and re-copy all ace_compat_rhs pbos into the addons folder. -

Can you be more specific with your problem? ACE shouldn't be doing that. Does it crash to desktop, exit the mission, or are you dying? Even if someone were to build you an easy template, it probably wouldn't work unless you get the ACE issue cleared first. -

Does anyone know if the JBAD doors problem is affecting this map? I'm still downloading it :( Apparently not :D Anyways this map is absolutely fantastic! I love what you guys did with the cave system. -

That's called Direct Attack mode and is actually is how they can work IRL. I think in the future, BI might implement Top-down mode with their new launcher stuff, but for now AFAIK, the only way to get top-down mode is with ACE. -
Without the source, you won't be able to fix anything.

Did you copy the .hpp file into Arma 3\userconfig\TPW_MODS. If you don't have a userconfig folder, you can just create one.- 5767 replies

Nice script! I'm loving everything about it so far. One thing I've noticed is that the pick up animation will mess up if you look away from the patient. The patient's animation will go smoothly, but the player will be facing some odd direction. (Don't know if this is an Arma 3 thing).- 914 replies

Well in response to your original question, you actually need to point the front of the truck at place you are going to shoot at. Then, from the gunner's seat, open the control panel and hit "firing position". Wait a minute or two for the braces to deploy, hatch to open, and rocket to come up. Then on the minimap in the control panel, click on the target for the missile, then hit the launch button. -
This mod hasn't been updated in over three years, as aforementioned, so you probably should look for another objects pack.

In the past, I could right click a waypoint and sync it to another waypoint. However, when I go to do that now, I only get the option to "Set Waypoint Activation". Has something changed? I've tried this with mods and in vanilla, but nothing works.

Template - Silos' North Altis Oil Rig V2

Download the .7z off of Armaholic and extract the file folder (SilosOilrigV2.Altis) to your Documents\Arma 3\missions folder where you should see other mission folders. Launch the Eden editor, hit open, and select the mission. It should then load the mission in Tanoa for you to use. -
But you didn't have permission from Activision or Sledghammer, did you? Even if you aren't accepting donations, you are still taking their models and using them in your mod without permission (stealing). That is what's wrong with it. Yes, by that logic, other mods can and should be banned (that was the whole point of the large bans a couple of days ago). Unfortunately, Steam Workshop has a lot of problems with users re-uploading mods and it takes a lot of community awareness to enforce IP rights and flag mods for takedown, meaning that stolen content isn't always flagged.

Are you sure its not in the mission.sqm, under Addons? If you can't or don't want to modify the mission.sqm, use the merge feature (Ctrl+M) and merge the mission you want to use into the current scenario, then save the mission. Also some future advice, only edit missions when you're running just the essential mods for the mission. Also, wrong forum section. -
They should be sued? They are not responsible for you or really for anything the servers do (exception being monetisation). BI has already provided a reliable gaming experience (called Arma 3) to its customers. There are many other ways to have fun that don't include playing on KOTH servers.

Yeah I've noticed that too. A potential fix could be to trigger an animation through the barriers' init fields to just make them permanently stay up. I think this would work: this animate ["Door_1_rot", 1]; EDIT: Are the barriers simple objects? -

Is CUP intended to be run only with all addons present? So running vehicles only, for example, isn't supported? -
You can easily edit the mission yourself. All you have to do is put this enableStamina false; into the init of all units that will be controlled by a player. it'd be way way easier than needing to use the debug console...
