    Pilgrimage, Silent---Unseen

Yes, this happened to me on every early game (so far not on the current game I'm playing). It's what I was trying to say when I posted the following: No issues, however, in my current game. As I move across the map for the first time I'm seeing loot, churches are clearing, new Germans and Russians are spawning, as are civilians. I even saw two AK fighters in full uniform! The problem is I'm not sure what I did to make it work. I did was create more free space on my hard drive and did move a lot of old Pilgrimage .pbo files I wasn't playing out of the mission folder so that they would not load but I do not really know if this helped. I'm running Enhanced Movement, Blastcore Edited (standalone), Incognito, TPW Mods, Mag Repack, Moduload, RHSWeaponSights_Zoom, Dual Arms - Two Primary Weapons, and Unlocked Uniforms. I'm curious what other people are running as addons.

    Pilgrimage, Silent---Unseen

Update: New game. Civilians set to 50 and 100. Lots of civilians now and thus more Intel possibilities. Even saw my first "seller". Thanks again Pvt. Partz. Also, I'm back in Szydlow (with loot set to ABUNDANT) and I would have to admit that generally I am seeing more loot icons. Also, I drove past a church on my way to Szydlow and -just by driving past it- got my first "He is not here..." message! Progress! Rydygier, my father was a WW2 combat vet who served in the South Pacific. My wife's dad served in North Africa and Europe as a P-38 pilot. I grew up steep in stories of the war from books, movies, television, neighbors and then in-laws (my father on the other hand never said a word about the war until the very end of his life). So, I read with great interest and fascination the history of the Cichociemni, Operation Tempest, and the Battle of Surkonty. Thank you for the time you took to share that. Off to find Filip...

Thank you Pvt. Partz. I had it bass-ackwards. I had civilian population set to 50 and the civilian spread set to 600. The correction should help indeed. 3D icons set to ALL. To be clear, they do show up on buildings in this port but few and far between (set on abundant) compared to other ports I've played. I'll continue to monitor. No "He is not here..." messages and no red, circled-Xs on churches. Difficulty NORMAL. I'm familiar with marking churches myself when playing VERY HARD or INSANE on olther ports. Again, I'll continue to monitor it. Perhaps I have a conflict with another mod... Gee, didn't know Armia Krajowa was a mod (but there it is on Steam!) and so wasn't suggesting to incorporate it into the port. I was thinking more along the lines of the friendly forces found in all other ports. Perhaps I just haven't run across them yet. I found the name by googling "Polish resistance in WW2" and reading about the Home Army a.k.a. Armia Krajowa. Thanks for the quick reply and the fantastic port.

    Pilgrimage, Silent---Unseen

Couple of things after 12-15 hours of Silent-Unseen game-play: I'm finally seeing some civilians with the latest version but not many at all even with my settings maxed out. Have a doc (who healed me) and a mechanic (who fix my car) so those are working fine. Are there "sellers" too? I need access to some anti-tank weapons! Same with loot. Very few structures with loot (set on abundant) with any of the releases. Usually find a few in the first town (or rural area) I come across but sparse/non-existent after that. Just spent a bunch of time in exploring Szydlow (driving and walking) without seeing a single icon for loot or civilian. Loot is one of the fun parts of the game for me. "Oh boy, what's in the box this time?" Churches have never "cleared" for me (your brother is not here, you have x-number of churches left) in any of the releases. No matter how much time I spend hanging around either searching the grounds or just plain parked in the car it hasn't happened yet. Confirm that Germans and Russians will engage each other and not just me. Again, I love the atmosphere and historical detail of this port. Any plans to add Armia Krajowa forces?

    Pilgrimage, Silent---Unseen

This is a fun port! I even found an old silenced Sten Mk.II and ammo to stash in the car to start the game with. It's from "LEN - Weapons pack for IFA3 LITE" on Steam. Funny thing though: I have played for hours and hours, done a few restarts in different parts of the map, driven and walked around, and have yet to see a single civilian in a rural area or in a big town. This is a first in all the years I've played this. Lots of Germans and Soviets and lots of fun, challenging combat though. Settings are pretty default for game setup other than HIGH combat. What am I overlooking?
  6. I've got a silenced Sten Mk.II (LEN_StenMk2S) from LEN - Weapons pack for IFA3 LITE that would work with the mod. Any help with my favorite weapon? Great mod! Most appreciated, thanks.

Location marker re-enabled in game options and now working. Thank you. Black cross markers now working - don't know why. Neutrinos? Appreciate the ending scenario heads up. Most helpful. And as always heartfelt thanks for such a wonderful game.

Great port! I love the atmosphere. Thank you for all your work. One early problem... My location is not showing up on the map. Neither are bodies. Any ideas?

EO, do you have plans for doing Sullen Skies and Ambient Birds for Kujari and Al Rayak?

    Pilgrimage - Ported

Thanks guys. Embarrassed to admit it's the first time I've "used" the editor. Looked at it before, sighed, and closed it. After one of Gunter's youtube videos I was good to go. So much easier than trying to find the classnames(?) of objects and editing mission files.

    Pilgrimage - Ported

First of all, kudos to Vafana and Major-Stiffy for the port of the Kujari terrain to Pilgrimage. What fun! My question to all is how do I place different/additional items in the boat at the beginning of this mission? My knowledge of code is extremely limited but I'm not afraid of looking at files and by trial and error trying to see how to modify them. In the past I have gone to the mission.sqm file and used Notepad++ to find and edit the appropriate lines. For example I usually change the part of the code that says: "value="[[[[],[]],[[""30Rnd_9x21_Green_Mag""],[6]],[[""Binocular"",""FirstAidKit"" etc to add ""NVGogglesB_blk_F"",""hgun_mas_grach_F_sd"" etc. (I usually start my missions at midnight on the insane setting in my underwear with a pistol, one clip, and night vision goggles.) In the Kujari port (and some other ports) the mission file is in the form of " SOH NUL NUL Item109 NUL-VT SOH Item110 NUL~FF SOH NUL NUL Item111NUL Q" etc. I can't figure out. Where's the boat? Where are the items? Any help would be mostly appreciated.

They all seem to go to the same dropbox page that only lists Pilgrimage in Altis. Also, are they updated to the latest v.1.95? Thank you for porting these!

    Pilgrimage - Ported

Have been playing this for a week. Five pilgrimages so far. The map is beautiful and interesting with varied terrain. Thank you, I love it! The massive barbed wire sections are great especially when under fire. Lack of gas stations not an issue at all since the map is so small. Interestingly, I have not yet come across a checkpoint (setting is at 100%). Hideouts yes, checkpoint no. Also for the first time ever playing Pilgrimage I came across two brothers! One early on in a game in the middle of nowhere in a field with no church around and with no "load into vehicle" option. Definitely the dead brother character. Later I found a second "actionable" brother by a church kilometers away that I spirited back to my boat. Go figure. Thanks again.

How about Summa? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1598087521&insideModal=0&requirelogin=1 Major-stiffy (and alky-lee, pvt. partz, rsoftokz, et al) I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the countless hours you have spent making Pilgrimage maps for us to play on. And, of course, many thanks to the big kahuna himself Rydygier! According to my steam account, over the past four years I have logged 4000+ hours playing this game . (Yeah, I know, I need to get a life.) Could not have had so much fun without all your efforts. Thanks again. Shoki

Thank you for the quick response. No worries and no hurry. I just love your work (Roads, too!). And, yes, I also have "game logic" in transmissions since 1.66 hotfix.

This thing working? Been so quiet since December 5th... Rsoftokz, any luck with repairing your Tanoa editions? I'm going through withdrawal. :O) Thanks!

Thank you a2012v! I love this Tanoa variation where one can purchase weapons loot from civilians (and sometimes get cheated). However version 0.36 breaks this function on my machine, had to re-install 0.28 for it to work again. Thanks again.

    [SP] ROADS for RAVAGE

Wow! Just started my first mission with the new release. I love it. Great job! After being burned to death the first two times I spawned (too close to the burning truck), on the third try (with no usable weapon - a 4-five sidearm with 9mm ammo) in total darkness I avoided a imminent patrol by going in the opposite direction. Lucky for me I did because what's this I see? ...A distant glow. (Campfire?). After as much straight line travel as I could manage -up and down hills in the dark (new chemlight feature is cool), losing sight of then trying to re-orient myself to the glow- I finally arrived at a camp of eight raiders. I creeped up behind one straggler and did away with him using the MOCAP mod. (What fun! Never used that mod before.) He had a Rook sidearm (I can now use my 9mm ammo!) and couple of grenades. I sneaked away then came back from a different angle and from cover the grenades got me four more quick kills. With the Rook I dispatched two apparently deaf AIs (can't hear grenade explosions 40m away?) standing at ease side-by-side around another nearby fire, and the final AI: he ran away. As dawn is breaking I'm currently in pursuit of him after loading up on gear, weapons, ammo, and water (but alas no food) from the dead bodies. Maybe he has some Tactical bacon. BTW, I found my favorite weapon on a raider: the ASP-1 Kir with three clips. I'm in heaven. This is FUN. I like the no-Zombies. I also like lots of Raiders to engage or to avoid. I'm a big fan of Cormac McCarthy's book and I'm really happy you put this together. Thank you, Rsofokz.

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Hello everybody! I've been reading all the posts on this forum for almost a year. I've been playing Pilgrimage exclusively _multiple_ hours every day since Christmas. Every. Day. I love this game. Even though I'm a bit shy by nature, today I decided to create an account (and come out of the shadows) to thank you all for your helpful comments, explanations, suggestions, screenshots and videos. And, of course, to especially thank you, Rydygier, for all your hard work. I was so happy that you placed in the competition and won a well-deserved prize. Thank you also for the continued support of your creation. Well, that's it. I'm here and I'm looking for my brother... Shoki
