Good middle-eastern music?

Recommended Posts

First of all, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, or should even be here at all, but since it's mission editing-related.. well, yeah.

I was just wondering if anyone know of any good middle-eastern music to use in missions? Preferably calm, sad music, since the games soundtrack mostly consists of music suited for intense battles and insertions.

I don't want any illegal download links, only advice if anyone knows any good music, bands, songs, soundtracks.

I plan to use it only in missions I make privatly for myself, so there shouldn't be any legal problems here, right? Otherwise, moderators are free to lock or remove this topic.

Yeah, it's good music, but it's African, and it feels like the Blackhawk down soundtrack has been a bit overused, and it just makes me think of Blackhawk down (Suits duala very nicely though ;)

And GossamerS, thanks, that solved all my problems, haha!

A bit too traditional may be.

Yeah, a bit, it's hard to fit it into a soundtrack for a mission, but it could work well in a populated city-mission or something like that. :)

I say again: "Preferably calm, sad music" ;)

Kasbah Rockers, heard them in the movie "Men Who Stare at Goats".

I used it for the intro in this movie:
