mugaben 10 Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) I'm getting "wait for host" Command: P:\arma2oa.exe -bulldozer -window Extracted bin, language and core and placed the folders in P:\ Made backup of the old ones. "Wait for host".. Command says: ARMA 2 OA P:\arma2oa.exe -bulldozer -window -connect=pipe\350B20,8EDB I dont get the "connect" part?! EDIT: Ah... Bull... muuuuhh.... prowler.wolf 0 Posted October 16, 2010 (edited) I followed all the instructions I could find and I get "Application load error 5:0000065434" when I try and load buldozer. :( I even reinstalled the tools and started from scratch and I can't get the new buldozer to work as this error keeps popping up. Anyone with the steam version of Arma2OA able to get this to work? EDIT: I got it working by copying over the Expansion\beta\arma2ao.exe to my P:\ directory. THANK YOU GUYS! great news! Your welcome :) Tweaking terrain details(especially around buildings/houses) with the original 5m, 1m step was a nightmare on the maps with 4-7.25 m terrain grids , so my call to the programmers heaven was heard :yay: , I have also some more ideas how to make object manipulation in buldozer a bit easier. Ran into prowler.wolfs Steam arma2oa.exe problem - solved it with the beta .exe as he suggested (cheers mate!) - got an error about backpacks, of all things :D - fixed that by using the beta bin and languagecore files as well... Excellent! a handy improvement...! @OldBear... Well, can somebody tell me how to tweak Buldozer controls so I can get a square looking as a square and the tittle bar out of the middle of screen? it's this bit in the Arma2profile file for the title bar... uiTopLeftX=0; uiTopLeftY=0; uiBottomRightX=1; uiBottomRightY=1; IGUIScale=1; Not sure about the square looking like a square bit... My problems i had by installing arma2OA.exe for bulldozer, was the depbo, as it again created a root folder in the root folder means p:/bin/bin/ ..... Robster 11 Posted November 30, 2010 I got the same heavy load time issue running arma2oa.exe leaving parameters (-buldozer -window) as always... At this very moment it still remains to say "inserting some objects"... Objects belong to arma2 the most and some of those in plants_e and rocks_e folders were taken from OA... What am I doing wrong??? It took about 5-10 mins to load OAbuldozer My machine shouldn't be a problem... I own an AMD 6X 2.8 GHZ and 4GB RAM DDR3 @1600 with 1GB DDR5 VRAM high end nv GPU... this PC runs fast, so speed performance is not a common issue... till now Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But i got another issue with the new Bulldozer via arma2OA.exe In certain angles the square shows black or grey like on this screesnshots. Or better said, i can see through the square only in certain angles. Very annoying. Everything worked fine with arma2 vanilla. beton 2 Posted December 6, 2010 Concerning the long loadingtimes: I had this problem since the latest patch when i did a complete reinstall and used the latest Arma2oa.exe. Oxigen was ok but in visitor my map wouldn´t load no more (Oa didn´t take 100mb of memory). I unistalled and then installed OA again took the required files on my p:\ drive and everything worked fine again. Obviously the latest Arma2oa does not like our habit anymore so we have to use an older version. Afterwards the patches can be applied as usual. Maybe that may solve some problems mentioned here.
