Nicholas 5 Posted July 27, 2010 Yes, use -cpucount=6 and -exthreads=7. I'm also interested in buying the 6-core CPU by AMD. It's the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz. Is this also the same one your looking at KraziKilla?

Is this also the same one your looking at KraziKilla? Yes Dice, exactly this one i am lookin at. Have you found any new tests with operation arrowhead and this cpu? or arma2, version 1.7? Fox '09 14 Posted August 8, 2010 the phenom ii x6 isn't exactly what you would call a fast 6 core

Dwarden 1125 Posted August 8, 2010 http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+Phenom+II+X6+1090T http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+Phenom+II+X6+1055T http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html as You can see ... X6 cores are fastest for the price tag they are ... the only what comes faster 5-10% is one quadcore from intel yet still 10-15% more expensive ...
krazikilla 5 Posted August 9, 2010 Dwarden, do you know how much improvement the 1.7 Patch really brings, refering to multicore support? All tests which i found yet were done with 1.5 Version of ArmA. 0% 1-5% 6-10% 11-15%? more? If someone could test a 6 core with the newst patch it would be great.
