SMERSH 0 Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) SARMAT Studio presents an addon to ARMA2: "Operation Arrowhead" called "Collective Rapid Response Forces (KSOR)". Russian Army is not included in "Operation Arrowhead" and we decided to mend this situation by adding the Rapid Response Troops pack. Collective Rapid Response Forces (KSOR) is a joint military force of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) participating countries. The Forces are in constant state of readiness to deal with emergencies, as well as military aggression, terrorism, organized crime and drug trafficking. Our pack consists of the air assault squad of the 31-st Russian guard air assault brigade, which is a part of KSOR CSTO, Russian armored vehicles, trucks and aircraft in desert camouflage. Murklor 10 Posted June 29, 2010 I really only have one question: How does Collective Rapid Response Forces turn into "KSOR"?
McArcher 0 Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) I really only have one question: How does Collective Rapid Response Forces turn into "KSOR"? This abbreviation is written in russian like "КСОР" (Коллективные Силы Оперативного РеагированиÑ), and this means Collective Forces of Rapid Response to translate word by word. Many abbreviations, e.g. NATO, are not translated into other languages. In russian it is called "ÐÐТО", just making the abbreviation sound the same way :) So, maybe KSOR is like NATO ;) P.S. I really don't know, whether KSOR is translated or not. Edited June 29, 2010 by McArcher
DiFool 0 Posted June 29, 2010 Nice move to add those to oa. It fits perfectly. Spasibo wam, rebyata! Question: the infantry units are defined in the vdbfrp.pbo, right? You got the same units with different shoulder patches in an earlier version of this pbo. So it's not possible to use both unit types at the same time. Would you mind to modify the pbo so that both unit types could be used? Peace keepers and regular paratroopers? Thanks!
Big Dawg KS 6 Posted June 30, 2010 Just a question... how come there is no T-90? Perhaps because there is no T-90 in OA? :j:

Mitchell Tyner 10 Posted July 14, 2010 very nice very very nice. I was wondering that also about the regular vdv paratroopers. Is it possible?
gossamersolid 155 Posted July 17, 2010 Perhaps because there is no T-90 in OA? :j: Yes... but there are also no russians in OA as well... I love this pack, but I'd love to see re-skins for the T-90, Su-34, Mi8 Rocket, BMP3, Kamov and the other things.
