Sheps 0 Posted June 29, 2010 Hey guys, I haven't been on the forums in quite a while and wondering if there was a catch to Combined Arms. It is apparently ArmA II + the Operation Arrowhead expansion yet it retails for $50, the same price as the original ArmA II. Am I missing something? I know that Operation Arrowhead alone is $40 and ArmA II alone is $50, totaling at $90 yet I can seemingly get ArmA II for just $10 when bought with Combined Arms. Regards cautious buyer. Beagle 684 Posted June 29, 2010 In europe you will get ArmA II for 20€ now, keep in mind..the game is 2 years old now, a drop in price of 50% is quite normal after this time. There is for sure NO catch with the combined version. In fact I would point at ArmA II without OA at a price of as 50$ a catch.
jblack9 10 Posted June 29, 2010 This is the version I bought, I have Arma 2 off steam, but I knew getting both for 10 bucks more is probably a better idea
tsb247 0 Posted June 29, 2010 The Combined Operations package seems like a great deal to me. With the Standalone expansion costing $39.99 by itself, you get the full version of ArmA 2 for only $10 more (total price of $49.99). I don't see a catch here. This will make my third copy of ArmA 2. I intend to LAN with them all. :)
Murklor 10 Posted June 29, 2010 In fact I would point at ArmA II without OA at a price of as 50$ a catch. I would point out that a 2 year old game for $50 is a steal :p Oh wait that's what it cost on Steam. Nevermind. :raisebrow:

DaveP 66 Posted June 29, 2010 I think the most eye opening part of the release is that you can get a standalone brand new game for £17; that just doesn't happen so much any more
