DeclaredEvol 10 Posted February 20, 2010 I have Paint shop pro x 2, and I don't know how to import or export textures from pbo files. And I guess how to add them to the class tree. Is there a tutorial on how??
a wild goat 0 Posted February 20, 2010 Well skinning is quite easy, you simply make a cut in the skin and pull back on it until the skin begins to tear, then just keep pulling it back. I dont really see why you need all these programs for this though?
DeclaredEvol 10 Posted February 20, 2010 Perhaps your brain has gone into orbit, this is the ArmA Forums :P
PuFu 4600 Posted February 20, 2010 you have to admit that you question is nontheless worthy of such an answer. to the point. You need BIS tools, and a tool to unpbo the pbo files. I personally use cpbo because it damn easy to use, but there are other options out there. What you need to do is: 1. unpbo the addon.pbo you need 2. open the .paa file you want to retexture with texview 3. save it as tga file 4. open it with whatever editing software you prefer/own You could have used search, it has been covered many times before

t_d 47 Posted April 4, 2010 You probably have the ArmA1 texView. Just install the ArmA2 tool suite with the new texView.

Binkowski 26 Posted April 4, 2010 if you're having a problem loading them in photoshop with the .paa plug in, download the latest kegetys tools.
[aps]gnat 28 Posted April 5, 2010 Weird You should get no error reading a paa file out of the game. If you are saving a file from PaintShop as a PAA file .... then thats why you are getting the error. PSP can not save in PAA format And don't try using PhotoShop and the PAA plugin, it creates all sorts of problems. If the PAA file is original from BIS or a working User made addon, then TextView2 should load it. If you made the texture ........ In PSP, save the texture as TGA format (NO COMPRESSION) Make sure its the right size ( ^2 i.e. 256x512 or 1024x1024 or 2048x1024 etc) Then load with TexView2, or even try Drag-Drop into TexView2
