It's related to ACE init. I had this problem too, i will take alook if i can fix it a simple way.

hm. i'm a bit lazy to make a config for each each of those addon (config are easy to do). I would rather have something wich is normalized between UK players if you know of it

How do you tell who is the leader of a group? I've got no idea all I can see is a bunch of red dots. For example, I just placed a group of RU soldiers and then tried in vain to get them to do anything besides stand there.

Great work though guys, just had a look at this then.

I do however, get all claustrophobic and feel helpless using it lol, but I should get used to it.

Have been playing this to death as it is SO great !

Couple of points to add to even better gameplay.

1) Would it be possible to add an ACM option for the GM to start a random war around any particular place / player

2) The ability for any player to become the leader of a group via the comms menu

I have also added mandoble's wonderful bomb console to the mission which just makes it even MORE amazing !

Hey gonza and l'etranger,

I have a request for this superb mission. Would it be possible to add an option (in the comms menu) for the GM (or any other player) to become the leader of a team they join.

Also could you get the dropdown menu (for side/item etc) to remember what you selected last. It would be great if I could place and item (a satphone for example) then close the dialog, reopen it and have it pointing at satphone (remembering where I clicked last :) )

I have successfully added the BIS ACM module into this (which really adds to it!) that is synced to the GM, but if I change class or Take Control of another soldier I lose the ACM from around me. Any solutions ?

MANY thanks again for all oyur hard work - this is probably THE best mission we play all the time, as it is SO customisable !

Tried to play with public yesterday. Me as GameMaster.

Couple of suggestions from me..

1) JIP-Visible Objective marker. Example here in Doolittle's script pack http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=91149

2) Ability to delete Obj Marker (or make delete function do it as well)

3) Respawn markers only visible to side or friendly sides (for PvP Reasons)

4) Disable factions at the Start/Lobby thru params. So that people cannot join the enemy side.

Hey guys,

Still having problems integrating madbull's arty and logistics. I need to spawn a satphone that is initialised as an arty computer. Unfortunately the init line isnt working. I tried putting a new pre-compiled list (like nuke etc) to help but couldnt get that to work either :(

Any help?

Also if I have enabled ACM (and synced it to my player name) then if I change class, or take control the ACM no longer functions. Any help there too ?

But don't worry there still some thing to be put in and to add units configs.

1 - That something i ll add in my todo list

2 - That should be doable, but only for those objectives marker (to prevent bug and other unknow issues)

3 - Adding it to my todolist, shouldn't be a big deal to change this

4 - Hm.. i could kick back player to lobby if they enter a faction not authorized in the parameters. Need r&d

-about the ACM , the selectplayer function, used by the take control and change skin, is not fully compatible for MP, there is many weird behaviour using it. It don't recomend to activate it if you are doing special stuff in the mission.

-Where do you spawn the satphone ? you can see if there is error in your script runtime by running the game with the shortcut -showScriptErrors

It s seem that the revive doesn't work anymore on the last version.

Hi I'm rather new to arma2. Maybe i just missed something. Trying to get VTS to work. I have ACE its updated and works I've already check that.

I have read all 12 pages of this thread and i don't see this mission everyone is talking about. i have the .pbos that came with the VTS 3.5 download. There is nothing else in the download file. Just pbos. I run the game, no mission, not in mp not in single player. I am missing something very simple i think. Even the quick start guide i saw just says run mission, but i see no mission. Please explain what im missing

Run it in MP. Then you take top slot (the GM). That is all that is needed.

Hi guys

Been playing this Mission as game master every time for the past couple of months.

The one and onlything that get me frustrated withe the game is the interface.

i like the entry int he GM's but the control panal is hard to read on my monitor and its HD.

increase the interface size in arma2-video settings.

Still having difficulty spawning items with their own inits. For example I want to create a C130 and attach an init to it. It makes no difference if I name it, don't name it, use the commandline, use the init area, NOTHING is working. Could you look into it please gonza to see if inits are working as they should.
