Brand new problem with capturing Bardak

So I've found the three evidence, and at one of the places I found the evidence apparently Bardak was there. The only way I know this is because my guy yelled out for him to stop. I never saw him, I ran around but could not see him at all. My "Capture Bardak" objective states COMPLETE. But I'm still playing the level. Its past 2pm in game now, and I haven't been told that Bardak is fleeing or anything like that.

Starforce 21 has been destroyed

I've destroyed both the Shilka and the Tank.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't even bother going on the evidence collection nonsense. I just go straight to Gorka and wait for bardak to appear. Nothing in between. Mission ends nicely.

Yep, I'm experiencing broken mission syndrome.

It could have been that Bardak was near your team, but you didn't just see him before he runned away.

You have to run and catch him. Only then the trigger activates and cutscene appears.

I almost lost him once too. He was running far away till i noticed him.

when I played the mission, Bardak appeared next to me. my guy started yelling. Then nothing happened. I walked closer to Bardak and then he started yelling don't shoot. my guy kept yelling at him to get down. finally my got shot Bardak and then radioed in to hq to tell them I caught Bardak. The game then goes to cutscene and takes me out to campaign menu. I then have to replay the mission from the exact same spot where I catch Bardak.

I restarted the game but this time didn't walk over to Bardak. Instead I told my squad to get into the humvee. They did. When I got in Bardak was the driver. So I just clicked on the map and Bardak started driving. When we came to a stop, he got and ran. So I chased him and the same scenario happend where I ran up to him and then shot him and cutscene.

At the moment I don't know how to get past that screen except for let Bardak go. But have not tried it yet.

I was lucky enough to have him appear at the power plant the past few times I have played through the mission.

However, I have had the problem where I get the message that he is going to be driving through Gorka, and he never seems to get there. I searched the entire road between (Dubrovka I think) and Gorka, and there is no sign of him. There is no car, no tell-tale dust cloud indicating that someone is driving down the dirt road, and I never found him running around on foot. I just restarted the mission and it worked just fine after that.

Hm,

For the the following works each time:

- Talk to Marine officer and LT. Marny in the main base

- Follow Marny's hint and fly to Staroye

- Help to defend the village and talk to NAPA contact

- Fly to Power Plant in Electrozavodsk and talk to the janitor

- Fly to Solnichniy and talk to some locals, they will point you to the quarry.

Bardak is in the quarry with three of his goons. I found it easiest to take them out from the quarry top with the sniper, and then storm the quarry itself. Keep running after Bardak when he tries to flee, and eventually the cut scene where Cooper shoots him in the leg and calls for a pick up will start, thus ending the mission successfully.
