    Bitter Chill-help!!

After hours of trying this, I get to the NAPA base with the two guys. NOTHING HAPPENS. Ive even found Michel and the other guy in Nova Sabor. So i decide the only thing left I can do is wat till 1700....at 1700 it Coops tries to radio, cant get a response, also the scout challenges me with the bitter chill password. Also there are enemies EVERYWHERE. So i answer the password, and it fades out. While it is fading out I get shot in the face. The cutscene with me using the phone plays, with the YOU ARE DEAD screen over the top of it. So I let it play out hoping it will still advance me to the next level. Well, it didnt advance me. So I try to revert to my last save. It didnt advance me a level, but it did decide to delete all the saves from the mission, so now I have no choice but to s t a r t a g a i n
  2. Saving Valentina If you are quick you can save her, but not Dr Sova. I spoke to Valentina just after I left the FOB at the start, she gave me info. I drove through Krastonovav and spoke to the good doctor. Then I captured Lagushina, and took her straight to the LZ. As I approached, Valentina tried to drive past, it seems she drives through Krastonovav then through to Gvozdao. I had played this earlier and knew her fate, so I shot out her tyres. She gets out of the car and just starts running in a straight line, I cannot stop her. Anyway I evac Lagushina, so I go back to see the Doctor and he is already hanging. 30 seconds later I get the message that the Doctor is dead, but where it previously stated that Valentina took a bullet to the head, it said nothing. So she lives, somewhere in the world. Following Valentina I replayed the mission and followed her. She arrives at the sentry point outside of the FOB at around 1045 hrs, not long after you get told about the bombing in Moscow. She then drives through Krastonovav, ploughing through everything in her path. She proceeds to Gorka, straight through. She refuels at a petrol station at 1105. By 1106 she has completed a full circle and is back where you first meet her, outside the FOB sentry. She keeps doing laps. This raises a question: if she never disembarks, how does the lynching in the area affect her? It is presumed that she is pulled over and shot (a trigger is in place to kill her in her vehicle) I say this because after I disabled her car the first time and she got out and ran (straight to Gorka, her next waypoint) she wasn't killed. In conclusion, either she is meant to die, or you are able to save her by forcing her to run. I think that's unlikely, but it's all I've figured out. Another point to note is that at around 1103 when she passes through Gorka, the yellow truck there starts driving somewhere. I didn't follow it, but that seemed odd. I haven't finished the campaign yet, but I will let you guys know if she appears again....

So she lives, somewhere in the world. I will update with if she appears later in the campaign. Capture Nikolayev I didn't even attempt this, as in my briefing I was told that he is out and about from 0600 - 0800 so completely assumed I would have to wait till that time to intercept him. After completing all of the other objectives, I'm told to return to base, so I follow orders. Game ends and I dont even get the chance to go after the guy. Does not capturing him or even triggering the bomb affect the game? Enemy Base Machine gun nests no problem due to the way they are facing. Tank crew are outside of their T-72 so easy to pick off. The only problem is the godly BMP who target fires my men who are prone from 500 metres away. Annoying but passable. Gun Runners and Insurgency Leader I intercepted the gun smuggler near the enemy base, as Valentina said they would be driving near there. I killed 2 men and the smuggler from a distance. As I got closer I noticed one man rolling around, it was Nikitin. So I try to be merciful and heal him, it seems you have no choice but to execute him and take the documents. I thought it was great how Nikitin was meeting with the smuggler to aquire more weapons, it definitely added more depth to the level. It is extremely annoying not being able to load previous saves after a mission is complete. I had to avoid this in Razor 2 by relocating my save files for the duration, because I knew at the end when I was to confront Bardak that he might be killed, and that would end the mission immediately. I stopped his car and ran up to him and the CAR EXPLODED. Luckily he was only completely covered in blood, still alive. Edit: Following Valentina I replayed the mission and followed her. 4. So I've found the three evidence, and at one of the places I found the evidence apparently Bardak was there. The only way I know this is because my guy yelled out for him to stop. I never saw him, I ran around but could not see him at all. My "Capture Bardak" objective states COMPLETE. But I'm still playing the level. Its past 2pm in game now, and I haven't been told that Bardak is fleeing or anything like that. Starforce 21 has been destroyed I've destroyed both the Shilka and the Tank. Has anyone else experienced this? EDIT: Quote from Alex72: "I forgot. Once i took Bardak first and then the 3 evidences - that did not work. Mission did not stop. So i guess BIS needs to make the mission work whatever order you pick the pieces up because that time i went on the clues, and it took me to capturing Bardak first. Some hours of play leading to nothing lol." Yep, I'm experiencing broken mission syndrome.

    Question on EW's storyline.

From memory they are shooting Chedaki, the rebels.
