Excellent mate ! I'm trying to build the mother of all missions (using VTS as a base) and I want vanilla users to be able to use it, and sound/GFX modders to trick it out :)

Is this a quick job or a long job to make the script version ?

Just loving the functionality of Medevac :)

is there a possbility to change the units for MEDEVAC on a mission basis? meaning the unit array config is in the mission folder, not userconfig. As userconfig will be use in all mission, right?

No, I don't think it's a long job..Now I'm out for few days but on the next week I'll send you the script version of the Medevac ;)

make an option were u can have a cobra, apache or any other helicopter to escort it like in real life.

Sorry, but I need some help. I have place in the editor one soldier, one game Logic, and the medical Support Module. I have syc the medical module to the soldier and the game logic. But I get the following error message

"Include file userconfig\MM\unit_array.hpp not found."

Is the PBO file I have incorrect?

if You have userconfig folder in your ARMA2 main direct just place the MM folder to userconfig. If no, create one.

Thanks, I did get the PBO version to work and it seems really great. I think adding a Mulitplayer Dedicated scripted verison will be a big plus.

Have got a VTS mission with AC130, Arty and logistics just waiting for the medevac script version.

Once that is ready it will be playable for anyone with vanilla Combined Operations :) OK it will be about a 10 Meg download for the mission but well worth it! I may even add MMA script version as well!

Hi guys!

I'm working to make the MM compatible on a dedi server. Can you try, please, this "beta" version on a dedi server to see if it works (I don't have a dedicated server :()?? Thanks in advance!

Sure mate ... will do. Will report back asap.

EDIT after testing on my dedi.

What works

1) Calling of Medevac and comms with HQ

2) Chopper approaches and initiates comms to throw grenade

3) Grenade is now in gear and can be thrown

4) Chopper hovers where you throw smoke (love this btw ... MUCH better than BIS land 'somewhere' function!)

5) Medic and 2 soldiers jump out

What doesn't work

1) Once the medic jumps out I hear 1 follow 1. Medic does NOT join your team

2) After shooting 2 in the leg (awww) I tell him to heal (F2, 6, 1 normally) but all there is on the action menu is 1 then blank

3) Therefore REINSERT doesn't work

Hope that helps mate. Looking forward to script version once you get MP sorted.

For the REINSERT action do you wait that all the chopper's crew (medic and gunners) remount the medevac's vehicle before clicking on the map?

Noone gets back in at all. I think the problem is that the medic doesn't join your team properly.

If you want to PM beta tests I'm more than happy to help on my dedi.

ok thats strange.........on my server it did work last time^^

i was able to do reinsert and i was able to use the unit which has been added to my team

Is BANDIT2338 using the latest beta you wanted testing on a dedi or a previous version?

EDIT: I tested the PREVIOUS version (MM Module 1.0) just there and it does work on dedi. Didn't check the revive function however.

i am using the latest version (1.0)

and well reinsert works....they enter the chopper and fly back to base

Yup. That's not the beta that goliath wanted testing. It's OK however as long as he knows what we were testing.

:O oh i am sorry didnt saw that one^^ my fault

anyway tested the latest mission......... (101)

the call medevac option still stays twice!

@goliath:when you test that feature you have to test it with bots enabled....when the revive addon sees no one that can revive you, you spawn normal.if there is a bot which could revive you you spawn norrin style and there comes the bug.

for the reinsert or return to base option......without my buddy i couldnt test that....on my normal server it worked fine^^ but i was host and player at the same time so no dedicated

I've tested a simple mission in MP with the norrin's revive few times and I have not the double menu action's entry. I can't try the mission you've uploaded, BANDIT because it is dependant to many addons that I don't have. If you can simplify your mission, please, by deleting all the third party addons, I will check the MM with the revive script in it. :D

@Kremator: in an your edit you said that the MM 1.0 works on dedi but in a previous post you said that it don't work correctly. Can you clarify, please? Thanks!!
