That guy has an attachment on top, Grenade launcher?

The stock is very bulky looking.

I've been interested in the Tavor since I first laid eyes on it. Nice job by the Israelis, although I don't know how I could ever get one in the states.

Civi here, but well armed :)

The tavor is sweet if your right handed

I'm pretty sure the Tavor is ambidextrous...or was that an improvement in the Tavor 2?

This is the Grenadier variant.

I'm inclined to believe the attachment on the top is a tactical flashlight. Or torch as the british call it. (Tactical Torch. Just doesn't fit.) The reason I say this is because you can clearly see a cord/cable coming out of the attachment on the shadow of the rifle on the guys leg. It appears to be leading back to a switch on the side of the rifle.

Similar to this:

Also, here is a picture of the civilian version. Not as... Snappy as the military version imo.

I'd have to disagree about that :) Might not be snappy but ,it looks like something that fell out of a time machine. Wonder if it'll accept 30rnd mags and a flash hider? Something tells me that price tag is gonna eat an arm & leg though.

well i would imagine it is around the $1500-$4000 range on the US Market (when or if released) that is pretty comparable to most AR-15 type weapons or indeed rarer things like the KRISS which i'm also in the market for (oh btw before someone tries to flame me i'm aware that the KRISS isn't an AR i've just been firing one a lot recently and I love it).

I'm pretty sure that that is the Tavor 2, which is the variant that the Israeli military are intending to adopt en masse. The armies of India and Georgia amongst others are also adopting that variant for their special forces.
