mcpxxl 2 Posted December 1, 2009 Is it only clientside or can i restrict it to use on server ?
Robalo 465 Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Client side only which is too bad because you can not easily force using it. It would be best as a game option. Having it on by default game design IMO simply destroys the fun of ranging with the reticles/binoculars/laser marker etc. Clever server admins will probably find a way to force it with signature checks and server-side scripting. Also if a frendly uses a counter team vehicle you will probably see then as a live target without ever knowing its a frendly? This problem if i understood corrently is inside the game engine itself, therefore it might be nice if ALL vehilces would be targeted so that you have to carefully select who you send a missle up the... ?
