Mask 0 Posted March 30, 2002 Hey guys maybe you can help me out with this one. I know that you all have tried the OFP mission editor and have tried to fly the OH-58 choper. Well here comes the question. What is a laser designator or whatever this stuff is for? It seems that i can't make any use of it whatsoever. So if u've got any ideas, i'll be glad to hear them. Renagade 0 Posted March 30, 2002 From what i understand of it,you have the oh-58 chopper and an A-10 flying around and an enemy vehicle. You get your helicopter gunner to target the enemy vehicle with the laser.This then shows for the A-10 and now he has a better chance of hitting the enemy vehicle more accurately Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Toolman 1 Posted April 2, 2002 Cool, ya know, you can be an soldier with an laser designator too, so i figured, if you go into a large town like, Lamentin, and Laser an house, the A-10 will bomb the city, if you go into a house by now, Then you know how the taleban felt,(Gna gna) or how Rotterdam in WWII was!
