People keep robbing my choppers.

On multiplayer maps people keep robbing my choppers.

I like playing the chopper pilot on hold maps but people keep kicking me out of the pilot seat and flying off with the chopper. This stops me even attempting to pick up troops making it all a bit pointless.

Am I missing something or is it a bug, It appears to be nothing to do with being a pilot or ranks, i've tried being the pilot and I've been kicked out by grunts and ranks didn't appear to apply.

How are people doing it and how can I keep my choppers?

What missions does this happen to you ? I have never seen or heard of other players can kick u out of a pilot seat or other position of chopper/car/plane. But on some missions u need a certin rank to fly choppers, if u dont have that rank and try to enter, you will be kicked our after 1second.

It happens regularly on the multiplayer hold maps I like playing on. It isn't due to rank, as far as I'm aware there is no ranks on these maps. I've flown back to base from dropping troops off and got kicked out by someone running up to the cockpit many times.

Loads of people have kicked me out of the pilot seat at all stages, when I'm on the ground. I think it's happened in other vehicles too like being booted off tanks.

Or maybe the guy has access to the "lock vehicle" command and locks you out, before de-locking and jumping in. Maybe bug in mission in this case

Sounds like a server allowing any and all addons, and somoene having a homemade one to lock vehicles they are close to.

I've installed no addons, (not even a scouse one, lol), it's loads of different people and I thought it happened on different servers.

I'll try another server see if it still happens.

If it's a bug, it's mission related, which has not much to do with A2 troubleshooting as it is a user made mission

Ok joke on the side, I have clear rules in my squad so only qualified personnel fly 'em and they have to complete trainings for in-game pilot. So I advise you to stay away from unlocked servers and join one of milsim squads with more strict rules.

Other option is to edit your missions so only players with "pilot" rank or certain name can enter driver position in the chopper or the script throws out all other "grunts".
