Texture problems

Recommended Posts

Did you try loading them as .tga instead of .paa? O2 PE can't load paas for some reason..

Uhm, maybe you should test and report if an existing (BIS or 3th party) model works and shows textures in bulldozer.

*What viewer do you use? ArmA1 or ArmA2 bulldozer?

*Do you run the latest tool package of ArmA1 and using arma1 bulldozer?

*Is the path to your dll folder correct?

*Do you use the correct texture format and resolution (tga and 512-512, 1024x512, 2048x1024 etc).

Hard to tell without any background info.

ok I'm not trying to add the texture just yet :p what i am doing is laoding the pic so i can add the points around the gun in the picture, rather than model by hand..as it is in the tut in my first post

now as for the dll..do i just put in the P drive? or in a folder

also i cant get buldozer to work

the image is in 1024x512

What you need is to make sure you have gifload.dll, ifc22.dll, jpgload.dll, mat.dll,

pacload.dll and pal2pac.dll in your o2 map.

Then it should work atleast for me it works.

I have a similar problem. Even when trying to load working arma2 addons bulldozer says cannot load texture. Paa textures set myself seem to show up.

Also buldozer doesnt start from the O2 menu(unable to create viewer) and i have to manually start it. "P:\buldozer.exe" -window -buldozer -noland -cfg=p:\Arma2.cfg

Hm it seems i dont have an ifc22.dll in O2 folder.. is this bad?

Im new to this.. is this select faces, push A, load texture, add texture the only method? I mean in in my modeling program i have a single UVW mapped texture.. isnt it possible to just apply textures rather than projecting them on all the sides? A new indepth tutorial would be very welcome.

Thanks
