Joe_M. 10 Posted July 31, 2009 Could this be a problem with the swap file? Is there a limit to the size of your swap file? Are you running out of free space on your hard disk drive? Joe

TechnoTerrorist303 10 Posted July 31, 2009 patch to 1.02 latest build if you haven't already and you're not on steam, that fixed it for me. I used to get that when trying to fly around in a chopper.

BobbyDylan 10 Posted July 31, 2009 In all honesty, my advice is to upgrade to Win7. It will handle your hardware much better. I think you can upgrade from Vista (I think, I went from XP to 7) so you wont loose your data. Is that right, anyone?

kenosis 10 Posted August 1, 2009 Hi All, Now, i notice that the error appears if I load a campaign mission called "Badlands". I tried to load previous campaign missions, nothing happen. ONLY Badlands has problem. :(
VariousArtist 19 Posted August 1, 2009 Maybe upgrade your Vista to XP would be the solution, hehe! Remember: Never buy a MS operating system simulation before SP2 is out! =) Vista proved that the newest is usually not the best solution - at least when you deal with a monopolist like MS who build their empire on pirated versions of their own software, hehe! Bulldogs 10 Posted August 1, 2009 Hmm.. I may be wrong but it seems like the error is related to the save system (like trying to save too many times or something) I'm not sure if it'll help but try going to your Arma 2 folder and make sure that none of the folders or files in there are read only. kenosis 10 Posted August 1, 2009 Upgrade OR Downgrade?
Bulldogs 10 Posted August 1, 2009 He's semi-joking, but Microsoft did introduce a plan (that's now obsolete) to upgrade to XP from Vista, now it's upgrade to the soon to be released Windows 7 (just under 2 months away for the official release)
kenosis 10 Posted August 1, 2009 I delete last two save files and it works now. but "ArmA 2 has stopped working" error occurs :(
Bulldogs 10 Posted August 1, 2009 It sounds like an issue with permissions (problem writing the files)
